    What pedal would you like to see next?!

    I like mine. Have built several of my own effects, and copied a few I found on YT.

      That’s a great way to find sounds you like! I’ve mainly been using the ampeg setting recently

    Looks like there will be a updated pedal, the zoom B2 four. I will definitely be getting that one. The B6 is just too expensive for me.

      @Basstech_  Год назад +1

      I’ve seen that recently yeah! Is still rather expensive compared to the b1four. I do like the addition of the DI though.

      @@Basstech_ I have the B1 four and I used to gig with it.. You can't beat the size and the tones. I went to the B3n because I basically use three patches and I can make the switches very easy.

    Awesome review bro! What’s your input? Pedal straight to interface and DAW? Sounds very clean!!!

      Thanks mate! That’s correct yes just straight into a focusrite solo and into logic with no plugins so purely the sound of the pedal!

    New player, just learning to bass.
    This looks like a great first pedal.
    Does this have the compressor everyone keeps saying to buy?
    Any reason to not get the one with 3 foot switches or the one like this with the gas pedal?

    • @Basstech_
      @Basstech_  Год назад

      This pedal has 8 different compressors built in to try out! I assume you’re talking about the zoom b3n with the 3 switches. I’ve personally not used that pedal but that’s nearly £90 more expensive here than the b1four. It does look a bit easier to use multiple presets and is a little more versatile. But you can’t beat the B1four in terms of value for money.

      As someone who had a Zoom b3n and now a modified G5N with bass effects, I would say for learning bass Zoom b3n doesn't really have much you would care for as a beginner. It can play 2 more effects and has a metal casing. I find it more something for a gigging musician.
      B3N is great If you got the extra cash and you can get it. But getting the b1four isn't big of a loss for a beginner.
      You can find both for really good price on second hand market too. B3Ns specially since they're tough nuggets so from my experience they tend to be in real good condition

    This is going to be my first pedal. If all I have is a regular amp and a cable, is there anything else i’ll need to get separately to connect this to my bass and amp?

    • @Basstech_
      @Basstech_  Год назад +2

      A great first pedal choice! All you will need is a 9v power supply and another cable to run from the pedal to the amp. The pedal can be powered by 4 AA batteries too though, but I would stick to a good 9v power supply!

    • @dominikszkoda970
      @dominikszkoda970 Год назад +2

      @@Basstech_ Yes, but you can also power it from USB cable so you have 3 options: batteries, USB cable and 9V. You can play on headphones so you'll need only bass + cable from guitar to zoom + power supply for zoom + headphones. That's the plan minimum. I'm using it like this at home and it's AWSOME
