    Looks really good.... The gravity primer looks like its sprays really smooth and wouldn't need much sanding.... Cant wait to see how the Gravity color sprays!!

    I've tried it with a 0.3mm needle at 30 psi. Putting it on to thick was very easy to do, so it did bite into my test piece. Putting a 0,2 mm needle in and lowering the pressure to 18 psi gave a much better result for me. Super thin primer layer which covered really good, even at some photo etched parts. Great stuff, after all, I first was not convinced, because it ate away the plastic. Once you've found the sweet spot for airbrushing with this thin primer or base colors from Gravity Colors, it's sublime.

    I have spraid with the gravity color (mercedes fire engine red) on ZP primer and it works excellent. No trouble with the different paints brands. Let`s also say that the gravity colorpaint spraid very nice and smooth. I spraid 4 mistcoats and 1 wetcoat (between every coat 5 minutes) and it looks very smooth. I wondering how the claercoat spray. Are you going to use this also?

      they give the advice spraying the colors with 1 bar pressure but I discover that is to low. So I sprayed it with the same pressure as you use and it works fine for me. (thxs anyway for your answer)

      1 Bar would be way to low for me aswell.
      Geen probleem Herman ;)

      +Herman Uijthof Who gave you that advice to spray with 1 bar?

      +Herman Uijthof Hi, Ok I see. That was a customer's submitted tutorial, he recommended that pressure. But whatever you feel comfortable and works for you is the best I think.

    One question, did you build yourself that spinning object holder plateau. That thing that you hold in your hand to brush cars.

    Hi Nice 👍 BTW I noticed that U use Gravity Paints. I just got my 1st batch in. However they forgot the Activator for my Gray & White Primers. (R the Activators all different? I ask cause I have some of the Gloss Clear Activator & Black Gloss Activators, could they be used with the White/Gray Primers??)
    Thank U Sir! I have asked the company but no answer??

    I just received my shipment of paints and clear coats. One can of primer, paint, and multi dose clear coat ran about $35 after shipping, which is a bit on the more expensive side, but for an alternative to zero paints, I think it's worth it.
    I don't have a spray booth yet to use these paints in, but I'm looking to either buy or make one. What kind of booth is yours?

      +Andy Lamby Hi Andy, This is Matt from Gravity Colors! Thank you for your purchase. You can clear coat at least 5 1/24 scale model cars with our Multi dose clear coat set. For $15 I think it is a great deal, compared to Zero Paints clear coats for example, our 2K automotive clear coat is cheaper if you do the math. Also we offer $6 flat rate shipping within the continental USA. If you had to buy Zero Paints clear coat from Europe you would have to pay at least $25-30 just for shipping on top of the cost of the clear coat and the paints.

      +Gravity Colors Hi about how much is shipping to Canada? and what are the difference between single dose and multi dose gloss clear?

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  9 лет назад +1

      Hi, They ship to Canada aswell. Single dose clear is a 1 time use. You can only mix it 1 time and have to use it all up. Multi dose can be mixed to just how much you need, and you should be able to get 4 to 5 models clear coated with it.

    • @GravityColors
      @GravityColors 9 лет назад

      +MegaDragonMinecraft We do ship to Canada. We get lot of orders from yoru country every day. Its a $15 flat rate shipping to Canada. Single dose clear is only good for one 1/24 scale model car. Multi dose is good for 5 cars. It also comes with an extra bottle of thinner so you can adjust your mixing ratio as well. Besides that they are the same clear coat. We also sell matte (flat) 2 part clear coat.
