You have to put yourself in a potential client's shoes and deconstruct what they search for.
Focus on search intent and develop your keyword research strategy based on that. Use tools, use intuition, ask customers...do anything but start with this, otherwise your efforts might be in vain.
Make sure to focus on "buyer intent" keywords for your SEO efforts. You wan to rank your site on Google for those keywords, because those are the ones that'll bring more clients to your busines.
