****** Rank and Rent is one of the best ways to make money with SEO.
The process is simple: With SEO Rank and Rent you rank your site on Google (i.e you own the asset) and then rent it out to businesses that want the leads your site is generating.
There's 4 ways to monetize your site with SEO Rank & Rent:

Vasco, your content is fantastic. Thank you. I'm interested to learn more about commission tracking. I've been in marketing for many years and have yet to successfully track commissions directly for sales. Could it be as simple as UTMs? And then the tracking to show click through and lead capture is one thing. How are you proving payments on captured leads? Thanks.
For emails every contact would go to a shared spreadsheet where both me and the client have access. For calls, all calls are recorded and client's info added to that same sheet.
You can never be 100% sure if the person you're sending leads to ins't scamming you, that's why I only partnered with people I trusted.
The part of call recording and the sheet was so they were aware I was tracking things. I didn't really bother to crosscheck things often. But the fact they knew I could do it kept them in check.
But again, the most important thing here is to partner with people you can trust.

if you don't live in a major city you can still contact businesses on major cities and get sites ranked the same way as if you did

Hello Vasco.. Is it not extremely difficult to rank a website which has no specific local address and no verified telephone number?
You should buy a phone number (I use Callfire) and put it on the site temporarily. This can also be used to redirect to the business you're sending leads to (with a callfire number you can track the calls). Regarding the address, there are ways around it.
So it is harder, but it's not a blocker

So here is the issue with this, prior to reaching out to clients what content are you actually using to rank. Every explination skips a step.
1. Setup Site
2. Niche down
3. ....
4. Rank locally
5. Sell leads of rent site to customer
6. Profit
What content are you using on your website to rank before you have a customer/client in mind? Are you just doing blog posts about the niche? Are you setting up a fake persona and just giving leads out for free? Are you using it as a business directory? You have to have evergreen or high quality content or no number of keyword dense domains or registering fake GMBs are going to do anything for your SERPs. Please fill in the blank.

I did, I no longer personally do it because I hate client work. Dealing with clients is a pain. But I share this so others can try it to. Simple really.
