Magna carta isn't the law of the land it is a historical document from which we derived some laws. The people who like to quote it remind me of the saddos in America quoting a 200 year out of date constitution that counts black people as a fraction of a person and declares that anyone should have a machine gun and freedom of expression is standing at a polling station with a machine gun and body armour hairy-eyeballing everyone who might not vote fascist...Hows that stuff working out these days U.S? And they like to talk about Magna Carta too. You are in good company Par Golf.

I have confirmation from a council employee in the south who isn't paying council tax that the councils are panicking because they do not have enough bailiffs due to large numbers of people withholding payment of council tax. Even if they get their fake liability orders, they don't have enough enforcement. This is in just one city. So they are probably all very desperate.

The PSD and IPCC is not a fair, impartial, is a bias system and we need a new complaint system so that the public can have faith within that system. You would also report that bailiff to get his and the companies licence's taken away. People should set up their own private companies and play them at their own game to fine "them" (the bailiffs) for their misconduct and crimes. Fight a corporation with another corporation, rather than face them individually. Also, the police ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SAY "we believe he is here legally". Beliefs ARE NOT THE LAW. A Belief is nothing !!!!! You can only act lawfully with evidence and correct implementation of the law. Police can not facilitate or assist a private corporation or an individual, they can only ensure the peace is kept. The United Kingdom seems to be what it is: A KINGDOM, and not a democracy or republic. It seems that the UK is the same as Saudi Arabia (a backwards dictatorship Kingdom).

@@taffman1Do court Shetiffs have authority in lieu of a judge in England? The UK has a low debt level at which bailiffs can seize and collect goods or monies to say Australia or Canada where the level of debt is quite high, in the thousands even. The courts don't tend to issue writs/warrants on Civil debts in Australia but council debts usually get debtors served with an investigation summons then a summons to court then an arrest warrant if they fail to attend. Once I left the UK i realised that the system is quite draconian and almost mediaeval in respects to petty debts.

Wow. Those Cooper's were a complete disgrace. Dispute having the law given to them they tried to help facilitate a 3rd party to come onto private property with locked gates. They claim to be impartial but always talk on behalf of the corporate 3rd party. Coming onto private land without even knowing if it's the Vechile he's after. First rule of a bailiff is he cannot remove property from private property that the Vechile is not registered to as the fake warrant with no seal, name or signature of a judge. Our police are not ours, they belong to the corpse-rations, hence why they're no longer called police constables serving us and instead are no Polic-e enforcers for private corpse-rations and government. Learn the law & stand your ground. Not sure why the didn't tell him his implied rights of access were revoked.

I think what decent people in this country are getting fed up with is the way these criminal debt-collection companies end up with the law on their side (in terms of being able to issue fines and use bailiffs backed by the police) when clearly they are run by criminals seeking to get money by dishonest practices and committing fraud when they pretend they have court authority when they do not. Another of their dishonest practices is excessive fees.
From personal experience I can say the legal profession at higher levels than bailiff companies can be just as bad acting like thieves, although in their case, unlike the bailiffs, they stick to the letter of the law - eg charging a rate of hundreds of pounds an hour for work then claiming tens of thousands of pounds for what I cannot see how it could have taken more than an hour in total if that. But the legal profession is not going to admonish itself for overcharging is it, when the person who would be assigned to see if there is overcharging is themselves on 700 pounds an hour.
If a householder pretends he has official permission to build an extension, then it turns out his supposed letter of authority is just a planning application letter, then what happens - he is forced to tear down the extension.
But is these debt collection companies use pretend documents in the same way, nothing happens to them. Applying what happened to the householder who had to tear down the extension, the bailiffs should be made to return all the property and cars they have illegally seized over the past ten years.
What is sad about the state of this country is that when these dishonest practices by these debt collection companies acting outside the law come to light, instead of their licenses being immediately revoked, instead of this we find that as you go higher up the system, NO-ONE CARES. So nothing is done. No-one cares right up to the level of prime minister. This is a sad reflection of the type of person that has taken over the authorities now that we have become a socialist country.
