Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, RUclips and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!
I am also a musician! My newest release is my first single (original song) called "She's Mine" which is now available on all streaming services - I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele and I write, produce, mix and master all my own songs and content myself!

@@bubblez211 so I do have a tic disorder, but I do not have Tourette’s. I have Epilepsy, along with non-epileptic seizures, I developed the tics after a severe concussion (which I got from falling with a seizure) it’s complicated but it’s me😂
I like that you are surrounded by people who know how to make a situation that normally stressful for you and easy experience to go through
I think that she's in a special classroom. I know in at least one video I've watched of hers that she mentions a specific classroom that she can go to when she's ticking a lot.

My friends did something similar to me when I had a faint a couple months back😂 I was in the middle of explaining a figure skating trick( on the ice might I add) and then I fainted on my skates on the ice 😅 that was probably the most scary faint I’ve ever had because I could feel it coming to late and had no time to get off the ice, when I came back around my friends were circling me in order to stop anyone from skating into me but now we have a joke that we’re a figure skating cult that sacrifices someone if they can’t explain a trick 😂

it’s functional bc she said in another video that she uses it to distract her hitting tics
she also doesn't wear a lot of spiky or hard jewelry which always makes me nervous when i see people ticcing with chunky or spiky jewelry on

I hate when they ask "are you okay?" Like, I get it, you care, but I'm literally about to leave the earth for a brief time, do you think I am okay?

I am neurocardiogenic so I faint but I’m medicated but if you wear compression socks it really helps I swear by them I wear the sleeves as I don’t like it around my whole foot

I have a friend who will oass out and have a seizure once a week on a Thursday and the teachers make it a big deal. Mainky because she passed out for 10-45 mins. I wish they would make it as this normal ❤❤❤
I do that and this is exactly how my friends react. I have blood sugar issues. So i just kinda oof. My friends have definitely made the situation better. Like theo with the “her dying last words”

Whenever i stand up to quickly i pass out,one time i stood up and everything went black and then i passed out i fell on my face which caused me to have a broken nose but i got it fixed and now im extra careful when i feel a dizzy spell coming in
Bestie please see a doctor if you haven’t. All of y’all in the comments talking about how you regularly pass out or come close to passing out concern me. Unless you know you have a health condition that causes it, that’s not supposed to happen.
@@SystemError1466 i was actually diagnosed with diabetes as a kid,but i like people like you that encourages people to seek out to doctors if they are experiencing irregular sickness that shouldn’t be normal,keep up the good work!
@@Felix.on.thebus Thanks! I’m just glad you know the cause and aren’t walking around thinking it’s normal to have serious health symptoms like I was! I’m being tested for hyperandrenergic POTS right now and thought my symptoms were normal for years since I don’t fully faint, and it turns out my blood pressure is like go-to-the-hospital level high every time I stand up, so I’m very passionate about it. I feel like this constantly
I almost fainted many times on my trip this week. I passed out on the plane, and my friends thought I was just sleeping because I did that a lot. I also passed out on a ferry ride. I told the teachers I felt like passing out, so they got me to a safe place and got me what I needed. For me, it's usually because I'm low on food and water
