Although we have never done an ocean cruise (we have done river cruises), we hope to take our first ocean cruise in next couple or so years. I know Explora is not cheap, but it looks top quality and certainly is on our “radar”. I was particularly alert to your comment about the lack of any obvious movement/motion. My wife suffered bad sea sickness on ferry journeys in 1990s, so ocean cruises has been a no-no since then. She been fine on river cruises and (finally) is prepared to consider an ocean cruise.
