You will see that in some tutorials it says that the version is RBDLab 1.5, and in others RBDLab 1.5 Metalsoft. They are the same version, only that some tutorials were made with the version still under development.
This is awesome! As someone who has had to do similar effects with hours of creating low poly collision meshes, messing with blender softbodies, manually keyframing colliders to give the illusion of a rigidbody hitting a softbody, this is amazing! I would've never thought you could make a convincing softbody deformation simulation with a bunch of constrained rigidbodies, but here we are! I'm really looking forward to purchasing and playing around with this tool and your other plugin, FluidLab.
I'm having a hard time figuring out how to create a hole in the metal. For example, bullet holes or if a tank shell went through a plate, it would tear through. Is this possible with soft metal feature?
I tried doing that on a simple surface of a car, the geometry was all triangles and turned it to quads, after I created the Metal deform on the surface and Blender crashes. What are the requirements for correct geometry?@@b3fxstudios

Ya... el problema es que el 99% ( literal ) de nuestros compradores son de habla inglesa. Y hacer tutoriales es algo que lleva mucho tiempo, no podemos hacerlo en ambos idiomas ( de momento ). Pero creo que el subtitulado/traduccion automatico de RUclips funciona muy bien. De todas formas, cualquier duda que tengas, siempre puedes preguntarla en nuestro canal de Discord!

It is not a simple addon to make fractures, it is a complete tool that allows you to create dozens of different fractures, advanced simulations, constraints to generate metal deformation, etc... you can't expect to learn how to use it in 1 day. We have a user guide and many tutorials.

You should pre-configure the plates to achieve this effect. We will make a tutorial about it soon

In order for it to work for me in 3.6.5, I had to give the particle sphere more mass instead of the 1kg in the video. Pretty cool stuff, well done!!!
If you want only one hit, Instead of a particle system, you can do it with only one sphere as rigid body right?

Пацаны, кто брал с тг этот аддон имейте ввиду, что версия 1.5.4 работает нормально только на версии 4.1 блендера. У меня так по крайней мере
what do i import into a new scene once im done simulating and baking? ive tried importing the whole scene but its not working in hte new file
