Amazes me how these little Hi-Helix roots blowers make such good HP 💪🏼🏁 especially compared to traditional old school Roots Blowers like the good Ol 6/71 which is basically a 6.9L blower so to speak 🤷🏼♂️lol Efficiency has come a long way.....
Agreed the efficiency of these units is incredible. Whipple Gen 5 is finally closing the gap in terms of competition, but TVS3100 systems are not far away and will probably flow enough to support 1500 WHP+ , insane!
@@ash156k I have talked at Eaton and Magnuson about why the 3.1 liter TVS sucked so bad that everyone abandoned it. No response so far. Easy thing to do: just upsize the 2650 by 3 percent in every direction. Done, IMHO. Magnuson, if they were smart, would use the dual-density aftercooler fin design they patented. The dual-pass aftercoolers of the Whipple Gen V 3.0L (aka the next step they can take towards looking like a TVS without violating design copying regulations, or personal pride?) are very efficient. They can produce 1500hp ON RACE GAS in the Mopar Drag Pak 5.7L engines. Putting the Whipple Gen V on the Drag Pak was a huge vote of confidence from Dodge. Now Whipple is producing the "knock it out of the entire stadium property" 3.8L Gen V supercharger.
So prob not worth the swap from a FDFI2650 to a LSA2650 right? Or is there more potential to come ie more boost ? Bit to ask, but can we get a comparison of a stock LSA1900, ported LSA1900, and the LSA2650
Very nice. Wouldn't mind something like this on my USDM Cadillac CTS-V. Close to 800 on the stock blower and had been looking at all the 2650 replacement blowers but would rather keep the "stockish" look under the hood. Will be following this!
@@HarropTV great!! Thanks a lot. I do have a 2017 isuzu mux, 3.0 TD. iwanted to enhance its speed someday. But i dont if it will benefit my engine in the long run. Anyway thanks for reply.

What are the the deference between fdfi 2650 and lsa 2650?
Which one have more potential for high horsepower and cooling IAT
9 seconds, low or high 9's? I am thinking of a LS9 Swap from the 3.6L LFX in Precious Diamond. Not yet a future plan that will be.
