+Ralek Kelar He's just trying to make a point about why he think's it's illogical to be more scared of magic than any other methods of killing people. Of course, anyone who played DAO as a mage knows why. Magic is OP, blood magic is even more OP. Blood magic + Arcane Warrior breaks the game entirely even on nightmare + mods that make the game even more difficult. Mages can tank and CC at the same time. It makes perfect sense, until you play DA2, where magic has been considerably nerfed, and blood magic even more so, to the point where you have to wonder exactly as Zev does, as to why anyone should be paranoid about magic at all.
+zopiclone199 Magic was nerfed even more in Inquisition. It doesn't even have Blood mage. I really had no idea how OP magic was in Origins until I went Blood Mage + Spirit Healer. Infinite magic supply with that combo.
Zevran is actually a very moral person and he always objects to pointless killing or hurting others. He's pro-mage, doesn't want to harm the Dalish, can very easily persuaded the anvil is evil by pointing out it requires souls, is a friend to children, etc. It's why I never got how people get him to betray them during the Taliesen encounter. It's very difficult to piss him off imo if you play even a half decent character and +27 approval is very easy to get.
@@heiveldboy Actually, the first time that I played this game I choose a team and played with it the entire game ignoring the other members. Obviously, without befriending Zevran, he turns on you, so I had to kill him. Sad, no?
Vargoroth I actually do really like Zevran. And he’s fully aware of when he’s in over his head. Even in DA2 he says he doesn’t understand why so many people think they can defeat people like Hawke or the Warden.
Alejandro Yañez I didn’t ignore Zevran the whole game, but for most of it, and at the end he didn’t turn on me, he just didn’t fight at all and simply left until after
It wasn't greg ellis in origins, I believe it was the same VA as Anders. After everything that's happened, hopefully greg will get help and eventually see the error of his ways..
I mean, for some countries and ESPECIALLY under the Qun, you're right, but the Fereldan Circle was, by all other comparisons, a good place to live. We've seen what untrained mages do to themselves and others. Do you think Connor would be HAPPY about what he did under a demon's influence? If he even survives, of course. In the Fereldan circle, mages taught and looked after their own. Yes, there was the unfortunate reality of the Harrowing and the Tranquil... But is that unfortunate reality really so terrible compared to the atrocities people like Uldred commit? It took ONE mage who was only a child to completely wipe out an entire Arlington. I agree some templars take it too far, but mages can't go without some manner of oversight or restriction. I dont think Cullen's LITERAL torture and seeing all of his friends being tortured to death can be equated to what life was like in the Fereldan Circle. (And honestly, that could have been conveyed better with a voice performance with more weight behind it.) Perhaps it is comparable to the life of apostates.
I sided with the mages, but I fucked up during the boss fight and the first enchanter died, so it was a templar victory. Since my Warden was a former mage from the circle and these people were the closest thing he had to a family, he was devastated. Morrigan was happy about it, though. As in, it raised her approval rating high enough to sleep with him by the time we all made it back to camp. I guess my Warden was in need of some comfort at that point.
@@lupinelp9226 that's what I always do, save Irving and the Mages, say we don't know if they aren't possessed, Irving even agrees with this point and submits himself to the Templars. This is what I think makes the most sense for a Warden to decide, the mages don't deserve to die based off of what might happen, but likewise they shouldn't be given full immunity as it still *might* happen
Magic can kill. Knives can kill. Even small children launched at great speeds can kill.
..wait what?
Well if you put a child in a howitzer...
Ma'jhad MoonSugar In a world where magic is a thing don't think they'll need that lol

I wasn't expecting Zevran of all people to be pro-mage. That's actually really sweet.

I don't know if I'd call him pro mage. Just sees no point in needless death. If it was Templars, he'd be opposed to killing them too.
Thanks, Zevran! Now I have to try launching a small child at people to confirm that it can kill... For science, of course.
You could find a dead one in the morgue. No need to be distasteful here.
oh wow.. was I the only one moved by the things Zevran had to say? because damn
Cullen's voice actor greatly refined his act since this game

the length of time Morrigan had to listen to Zevran talk XD
"Even small children launched at great speed CAN KILL"
Oh my this got me bad xD xD xD
OMG Zevran! You look beautiful. Maybe he's perfect. Maybe it's Maybelline
The conversation between Cullen and a female mage warden is particularly awkward.
Due largely to the fact that Cullen admits to an attraction to the female mage character, despite his Templar status
well now he understands how many mages feel. caged and broken
Hmmm...yes, but guess what, before this he thought Templars were unnecessarily harsh on mages, so he was proven "wrong".

Always did the Circle first, nice to see Oghren's and Zev's comments here
once again Ogren never ceases to make me laugh
Children launched at great speed... lol Zevran.
Dang! Cullen has some righteous anger. lol
At least I looked my victims in the face
OH SHIT SON
Zev is really nice. For a Crow. :-)
Actually Cullen, you can tell malificarum by sight. They are labeled in this game lol
The party members look sooo much better, especially Leliana and Morrigan
Anyone who would choose to kill every mage in the tower is nothing but a monster themselves .

Hmm... Shale's argument was not surprising, though it was funny enough to almost make me kill 'em. XD
Hmm I love the idea of launching children at great speed :D
Why is Zevran wearing Geralts amulet and assassin of kings armour? Has he killed for it?
Mod.

What mods did you use for Zevran's clothes and face?
No dislike, good
how did you get that morrigan outfit is it a mod?
Is your main character Allistair???
personal expiriance?
What armor is your warden wearing? Is it a mod? :)
Why does Shale sound like Joker?
Why're you so quick to condemn this mages? Just shut up Zev!!
