    I'm sure it is great but I can't get it to paste. Scan OK and get a message asking if ok to paste but there it all stops. Off to read some more manuals! This would be brilliant if I can crack it. thanks.

    Just watched the part on an old video about this where you used Scanner Pro, I went into the app and it's available on free trial, but this is better! I just tried it out and it worked perfectly. I have so many cookbooks, but I forget the recipes that I want to try because of my ADHD. This is awesome! So satisfying too.

    I just discovered a shortcut taking this even further! Click twice in any text box in Paprika. Those three lines pop up. Click them and the camera scanning function automatically starts in the bottom half of the screen. Click insert and voila! Added directly into Paprika, no copying and pasting required.

    The Live Text feature only works on iPhone X onwards - Sorry everyone, I just found this out after posting ( thanks JoAnne for letting me know). If on an older phone, scanning apps like Scanner Pro does the same thing.

    I would love it if paprika would be able to upload a PDF recipe and that would be much easier than doing all of that. Because I have so many homemade recipes in my homemade recipe book that I rather skin in. I hope paprika updates this and hopefully somebody will do this PDF uploads.

      That’s a good idea Kim though I wonder if it might be quite tricky to do - I’m nothing to do with paprika app (other than a fan) but I know they have a contact form on their website so it,could be worth suggesting it - you never know 😊

    Well done and explained. A trick that makes this new update even easier is I use my iPhone 12 Pro to capture the text, titles, directions ingredients etc. but then use the Copy Paste across devices to add those captures via my iPad.

      🤣 I just saw both of these ! Brilliant isn't it!
      The thing re text on image...if I'm struggling to scan I sometimes do a very specific Google search for the recipe - sometimes the same recipe is online somewhere (on other bloggers pages!) and can use that as another way to download. Happy scanning

    Do you have any suggestions of how to copy a recipe on a RUclips video? If they have a website that the recipe is on that works out great but many of the RUclips creators leave their recipe below the video. Any suggestions?

    • @CookingandCalm
      @CookingandCalm  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, I've used the same method as I use for Instagram which works for some recipes. Just copy the link of the video from youtube, then go into Paprika and open up the youtube link *directly in the app browser itself* and click 'download. If the creator has formatted it with words like 'ingredients' it does a good job of getting it, and you can also copy bits manually from there too. I hope that helps
      If you haven't seen the instagram one, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/rLPz2ri6L6U/видео.html

    I bought the app on my iphone but I'd rather type on a bigger keyboard (specifically my chromebook). I thought since I used cloud sync, I 'd be able to do that...access on a computer. I also have a windows desktop if I must but it's not portable. Is there a web address where I can log into my paprika 3 account on any device?

    • @CookingandCalm

      That sounds frustrating Shawn. Unfortunately, I am in the Mac/IOS world so not 100% sure re the windows stuff but I don't think so. Could be worth asking the Paprika People direct (I'm not connected with them, just a user). Good luck with it.

      Hi Judith, I've just tried about every different combo of settings, and I can't get it to print with the photo either. What a shame. You could try submitting a help request to the Paprika team just in case, but I suspect it's not possible as neither me nor you have been able to make it work. I bet your card index is amazing!
