This is the updated version of our previous take on turning Splash Mountain into the upcoming Princess and the Frog attraction. Thanks to your feedbacks, we were able to add more life to the attraction as well as more characters and an updated soundtrack. They were much appreciated and we hope you all enjoy it.
Take a virtual voyage through the upcoming Princess and the Frog attraction coming soon to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. This overlay is planned to rethemed Splash Mountain on both the east and west coasts. Follow Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure as they prepare for their first ever Mardi Gras performance. This virtual ride through was built inside Planet Coaster- Console Edition. I’m watching this to cope with how bad the actual ride is compared to what we expected
you know its bad when I feel more suspense just from this video on the lift hill than when I rode the actual ride😂

I can't wait for the final results for when it's actually made, I love Princess and The Frog movie alot and disappointed there wasn't a ride dedicated yet to a movie that has alot of potential to it for a ride. I can't wait to ride it once it's finished and able to be rode
Splash mountain is the goat it will never be erased from Disney history because people will sing zip a dee doo dah when visiting the parks
It's missing something...singing frogs 🐸 maybe..wonder how they'll do the fireflies..flicking lights?

I will have to say I just saw this video for the first time today and it was wonderfully done and I think honestly listen you can appreciate history without tearing down new history and if you really look at it to have this rethaming means that they see princess Tiana as a valuable character and I think the one thing that Disney knows how to do is value storytelling I don't think that they will take a ride and screw it over because they have too many people that care about the story and stories evolve so I look at as even though this is involving story that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the memories of what used to be splash mountain I mean my goodness people of all if everybody who does not like the ride never evolved as a person but people like them still so that's the point if people can evolve rides and attractions and things can evolve too

Can you make one for Disney World? I hate to see Splash go but wonder what it’s concept art could be like..
It seems nice but from my personal point of view something is missing, more animatronics in some areas that are kind of empty and i know that this is just a simulation from how the ride is going to look like but for real there are a lot of empty spaces or at least more screens with certain characters and which one is the villain i didn't get it, there was a snake that never appeared on the original movie, and there are a lot of boats but there are not too many frogs or any other important character such as mama Odi the women that was preparing a strange soup 😅 but i don't know we are gonna have to wait and see, i was waiting for a sneak peak from this atraction because i love animatronics and i wanted to just take a look. For example that animatronic from pandora is so real i hope that there are similar to those animatronics from the beauty and the beast

Where do you get the choir version of these songs.
They were from a show that used to be at Disneyland called Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee. As for Dig a Little Deeper, that is from Mickey’s Friendship Faire.
They should have umbrellas up there instead of lanterns

The opening song doesn't really work since we're not in New Orleans, we're in the bayou.
I disagree, I think it gets people in the mood by the “river” and NOLA is considered part of Bayou country.
4:34 they have to play this on the ride when you go up the hill more people would go on it
Are they gonna add tianas mom (also her dads photo), Charlote and her dad oh and also naven butler/footman? because i didnt find a reference to them and i think it woul be a fun detail
It sucks that Keith David is not coming back giving this ride is a sequel to the film, I always felt he should be the one leading the drop.

It has already been confirmed that the ride's story will take place after the events of the film.
@@TheLostBoysGirls ohh makes sense! If you know what the plot/story behind it, I would love to hear it! Unless if it's not quite worked out yet.
I hope they add Ray in the two Tiana rides. Will they, The Lost Boys and Girls? Make sure to reply.
It is confirmed that the story will take place after the film, so it is very unlikely that Ray will make an appearance in the ride. Although, we think the best way to feature him in the ride is to have him as a star alongside with Evangeline just like at the end of the movie.

We do plan to post it up on the workshop, but only when the attraction officially opens next year. Therefore, once the attraction's storyline is finalized, we can make changes to match the attraction as best s possible.

I will never ride this ride because it should of had its own ride built from scratch from the ground up splash mountain should of stayed and princess and the frog should of be in Disney forward
i disagree, only because the original splash mountain ride is based on an insanely racist movie called Song of the South, that Disney is trying their best to pretend never existed. it's very hard to find a copy of it, i remember as a kid i really wanted to see the movie with the brer foxes and brer bear from the ride. but i couldn't find it and I'm glad about that, now that i know what the movie was like. however, i very much get where you're coming from because i used to be obsessed with the song zip a dee doo dah (also from that movie)
even if most of the people of colour in Princess & the Frog are literally frogs most of the movie, it's still better than dedicating one of the park's biggest attractions to a blatantly racist movie
