This series had the best soundtrack ever. If for nothing else, love it for the music. Jan Hammer's music could set a mood like no other.
Thank God I got to watch this during the original run. Whenever I feel down and blue, need confidence, I put this on and turn it up. Been that way for close to 40 years now….

I'm doing a rewatch of all 5 seasons of Miami Vice. It's still a fantastic series and it works now as an 80s period piece. The Music! The Fashions! The plots! There hasn't been anything like it since.

She was 28.
This tune reminded me of the coach journey.
It was used in an advert for a bank/building society.
In 1991.
It still gives me goosebumps.
I wasn't big into Miami Vice.
My Granny watched it.

I so miss the 80s. Best decade of my live - I was born start of 70s.
I will never forget Sheens Easton appeared ad his second Wife and died from a shot gun. One of my favorite 80's show. The music always was so dramatic with the scenes heart felt.
Brings back the memories from my childhood when we kids ran home from the playground to watch miami wise on tv. Good old days.

@@sergioserrano3994 en mi caso ese vórtice, se habrío el 30 de abril de 1998.y yo lo presencié.y vi a través de él el mismo lugar pero en el futuro , y esa fecha se repetía solamente en 2020 .y era el mismo día de la semana..y el lugar estaba tal cual lo vi en 1998. Si encuentras un vórtice . Deberías poder meter una cámara o un dron para poder ver dentro y saber a dónde te yevaris : en mi caso ..yo sabía que lo que vi en 1998. Era este presente.que solo lo pude corroborar al pasar los años

The definitive TV series of the 80's. The story lines and character traits made things less straight forward and brought about a complexity that hadn't been seen on prime time TV slots of the day. Cheesy by todays standards, but back then, it was very cutting edge and you could almost taste the grit of deeper issues and darker motives, especially when the good guys fought hard, but didn't exactly win the round....

Also it’s funny when you watch it after watching movies like HEAT and Collateral ( two of my personal faves) and realise all Mann’s techniques, the camera shots of the cars speeding and the wheel and of course the sharp suits and chilled as hell soundtracks, was pretty much all set back here

I remember this used to play in my local ABC cinema when you would enter the screenroom way back in the 90's. Such happy memories listening to this. Wish cinemas would play this again instead of all this modern music crap.

I never stopped listen to this instrumental Song since the day that was released 1986. I remember that My father had a Cassette radio road star in our Ford Anglea memories of my childhood playing this Cassette with mixed 80's songs one of them it was Crockett theme. Even the T.V. series I use to watch ever single Episode of Miami vice. Memories that brings our nice childhood back to the future.
