Hi thank you so much for all your help. I’m a stroke survivor with a awful memory loss so learning the cards have been really hard work for myself. I work closely with my intuition it’s working with that greatness that has got me to where I am today so thank you xxx

100% agree! It would make it easier to connect what she’s teaching to be able to see it

I am very new to learning the cards. I can’t rely on my memory to recall the meanings despite hours of study so the idea of intuitive reading is appealing. I also seem to be challenged to string more than a couple words together so the story of the cards is the world’s shortest story 🤣 I am hoping that I become more fluid with this skill in time, please tell me this is part of the learning curve?
I do want to thank you for always stressing in your videos that it takes time. That helps greatly in managing my expectations, if only temporarily. I generally tend to want to know it all now and be perfect at reading…kind of a personality flaw. 🤪

When I was learning, I found 3 and 5-6 card spreads to be helpful.

I always get stumped when they are all good cards but the last card seems like a negative scenario. What can I do to help me continue to understand what the cards are saying, without forgetting or getting confused over the entire storyline?

I can't read 1 card at a time... I know how it sounds but when I pull the "card for the day" I always lose it and can't imagine connecting it to anything i need to actually find the thread so I keep pulling another 3-5 cards asking questions like "what area is this in? " "can I change something about it?" I pull often more than 1 card per 1 of these questions. I wanted to ask if it's okay. I knwo it sounds quite weird to even ask it but no one ever mentions reading card this way but it feels quite natural to me. I say I'm "talking to the cards" as if in dialogue. I ask a question pull a card or two to answer and bases on that ask further and pull more answers. I look back at what I've been told in previous questions and connect the cards. It's literally impossible for me to pull 1 card and let it be.
Let me add to this: I put the cards down into groups based on how I connect them. Every spread ends up looking slightly different but I put the cards down into what their "position is" based on the question it answers and how it connects to others. And I stop when I'm satisfied with knowing enough. It also ends up being faster than casual spreads as I don't analyze the cards as deeple to keep the conversation going.

Yes! This is a wonderful way to read. It's actually very similar to how I read these days - less about spread layouts and more about going where my intuition leads me.

This is a very common way to read. It happens when cards are not clear and the reader keeps asking clarificators: how, when, where, why, for example. You stop when you saturate of information, satisfied your curiosity or explored the possibilities. I always ask about possibilities, What can possibly happen? If you need too many clarificators and go back to previous questions, it is not time to read or you are too involved. Then you can consult with other Tarot reader.
You can try to practice a one card pull about the general energy of the day. This will help you to restrain the mind about questioning the details, sometimes unnecessary, for a very general guidance. Place a deck already shuffled the night before where you put the keys to go out. Pull one card, see it and leave. Like in a "rush". Sometimes clients know very well their situation so they want yes/no answers or to the point feedback. This is a good excercise. Cheers.

Hi thank you for beautiful help and insights I wanted to ask if flash cards with meaning written on them is worth investing as I am a beginner I just learned Tarot and I am struggling with remembering the meaning of the cards
