When Devales said "I got married to serve", I was blown away. I'm a single woman and I have never heard a man had that view about marriage..oh damn man. This is a powerful statement he made. Many people go into marriage with the wrong intentions and then it fails.

Because in my 1950 version, it states 'that women must submissive to their husband the same way the church is submissive to God.' But, people pick and choose what they want from the word and ignore the rest. Remember in genesis the wording of Eve as Adam's second wife??? Lilith was his first wife who didn't want to submit to God or Adam. Story goes that questioned God on why she should submit to Adam, and told God that she will never do so. She further stated that she will NEVER submit to any man.

From a biblical stand point Colossians 3:18-21 states the order of the home. A marriage is no good if they both first don't submit to God and than to each other. If that is done the children will be cared for properly.

I remember years ago meeting Devale on this set for a RUclips series that Khadeen was in and we were just chopping it up about life and finding your purpose. He’s a real down to earth dude and she’s such a sweet person. I’m Glad to see them on here.
