We’re two of them sisters, two look very similar. .I love how the camera pans out to the audience where the one row of teenagers were sitting but seat dancing too. .this dance they were doing at 2:19 was very popular with the rolling of cupped hands, I remember because I was 10 in the mid ‘60’s and we were still doing it then. .we had so much fun dancing to the records in the living room, there must have been 6 of us doing a line dance and wearing the carpet thin. .my mother was furious about this!
On the left of the screen is Estelle Bennett, the lead singer’s sister. Nedra Talley, their cousin on the right. Being 10 in the mid 60s man. You really had it🥲
The Ronettes and Ronnie Spector were underrated. And Ronnie, in my opinion was the best female rock n roll singer...yes there were othe female vocalists doing a bit of rock n roll but Ronnie did it the best...It was like songs that would usually be sung by a male singer and she sang them as good yet still sounding completely feminine. As John Lennon once said "She's the voice"
Look at what the dancers are wearing. Subliminal at its best. Love it.
Lindas vozes......
Thank you!*****
