    These videos are amazing. This is how to study, love love love this. H2N has free beta. Grabbed it few days ago. Noticed i was too soft/complacent and started ramping up my aggression again. Im an aggressive person by nature and its tough for me to find enough 3bets and i am 3b hands most ppl are not. So its eaay to talk yourself out of the 3b. Cr flop with back doors alone can straighten any red line along with more 3bs and red line is cruising again. Much appreciated

    Awesome video as always! I have a quick question about a reg-fish ratio. Are you using the default definition at "Who is reg" setting or your original definition in H2N?

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  Год назад +3

      Thanks! I am using my own definition, which is similar but a little bit looser than H2N's.The looser your reg filter is, the worse the ratio will look. The more specific it is, the better the ratio will look. It's not an exact science, but it's just to get a rough idea for what the ratio is.

  • @yongdaliu7734
    @yongdaliu7734 Год назад

    Hi Patrick I like your scientific approach. Regarding the hand at 33:07 a lot of his folding frequency comes from overfolding weak top pair on dynamic turns. EV of the defense in a vacuum would be 0. He mentioned his opponent to be a huge nit, is that still considered a "leak".
    Curious to hear your thoughts!

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  Год назад +3

      If your opponent is underbluffing, then by all means overfold.
      Just don't look for too many reasons to overfold, especially if you can't prove them ;)

  • @georgecroberts
    @georgecroberts Год назад +1

    Hi Patrick, is there going to be any board texture stats/analysis in your GTO stat checker or is it all aggregated stats and averages?

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  Год назад

      In the full version of the course, I will show in the final chapter how to do board texture analysis for those who want to do that. However, this isn't included in the stat checker by default. The first problem is there does not seem to be a way to import board groups into Hand2Note from another config. But even if you could, I don't think you would want to. Sample sizes for stat checks are usually way too small to do textural analysis for anything but the most common flop spots.

    Patrick, do you intend to create the river tab GTO frequencies for 3BP pots? Didn't understand if it's possible from last video, maybe a hand history problem?
    Also very curious about the 2BP OOP PFR/PFC - River tab, maybe it will appear quickly on the next video hahaha
    Thanks for the content, and also for the answers, keep it up!!

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  Год назад +1

      No 3BP river stats. It can be done, but the stat checker is already sort of maxed out with the number of tabs I have in it, and you will almost never have a sufficient sample size in your own database to look at your defenses in specific 3BP lines on the river, so I haven't included it. You can still extrapolate from the 2BP lines though.

    • @mobiuspoker

      @@DiamondForevah I have not included PFR and PFC filters as I don't think that is very useful for the purposes of a stat check, but there are filters for IP and OOP below the ?-?-F,XF if you want them. You can see his fold is 51 IP and 54 OOP, so pretty similar.

    Hey, Patrick. Incredible video. Congrats and thank you. Question: if a player plays close to the right frequencies (from the GTO point of view) preflop and postflop on low high rake stakes, but not using correct sizes and also not exploiting the pool tendencies, do you think he’s going to have good results?
    I’m asking this because some pro players are saying on the last months that you have to exploit the pool tendencies in order to have good results on these rake high environments. Thoughts?

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  Год назад +2

      Thanks! It's not possible to say for sure, but I am of the opinion that a solver would at least have the win rate of a strong regular in real games.
      Anyone who claims to know the answer for sure has not actually proven it, because in order to test this, you would need to put a GTO bot into real games, and currently a GTO bot that can play in real games in real time, and play multiway, does not exist as far as we know.

    Hey Patrick,
    Thinking about how important is the range composition on flops and turns of villain bets and raises (even more than frequency I would guess)
    Is there a way to have GTO proportion of bluff/value ratio to compare to H2N numbers on the Flop and Turn nodes?
    Is there any heuristic besides the 70/30 flop and 50/50 turn? I think these don't work for many spots. Or maybe some way to get the specifics spots approximate numbers?
    Thanks for the content

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  Год назад +1

      Yes, I have done this. The way I did it was to make the solver play against itself in heads up spots and study the range composition. I think 50/50 on the turn is actually a good heuristic in most cases.

    • @CristianGVB
      @CristianGVB Год назад

    In my opinion, one of the reasons people don’t XR enough on turns (for example) is the fact that it’s hard to do that without using a RNG. Do you think it’s possible to play good frequencies on all nodes without using a RNG? Do you think people that play lower stakes should start using a RNG already? Thank you again.

    • @mobiuspoker

      I think it's possible to get close, but I don't see how someone could play a truly balanced strategy without randomizing in some way.
