.... Gits hit the nail on the head, "Rugby is not free to air" in Australia. making rugby exclusive (and paying for it) to the faithful is a death spiral.
It's not free to air in South Africa either, which is crazy because all national teams should be played on national television to grow the support and the game. Sad
Most test matches are on free to air in Aust. Which, given the more losses than wins in recent years, means the public isn't getting much to cheer about! @@nox6885
I flat out forgot rugby existed for 15 years when it was on Fox. Stan is much more affordable and I’m loving rugby more than ever. Needs to be on free to air so more people can fall in love with it too.
Yes and 3-4 free to air games per week each for NRL and AFL - that's the kicker.

Still my favourite rugby podcast. Max and Ryan are the best combo on the podcasts, closely followed by the Jim and Andy show and then the Tins and James H show. The GBR Aus show is brilliant fun. They give you a run for your money for the craic. DM and Gits are funny as f*ck. AAC is the geek but it's a brilliant combo too.
Also Eggchasers and Two cents rugby are also superb, the former being in the media and the latter having made a name for himself down in NZ by himself. Good for all of yiz.
I *love* that everyone is writing the Scots off. We still have no chance, but it's just absolutely set up for the biggest upset in RWC history. Of course it won't happen. Of course it won't...

"i thought they had a soft underbelly" SA fans always think that about Ireland however, since the game turned pro in Ireland with the introduction of the Celtic league in 2001 Ireland have won 8 tests v the Boks vs SA's 6 wins v Ireland. Soft?
In that time you could not buy a Semi in a WC, hence the underbelly comment. The last 3 years Ireland toughened up which is fantastic for rugby.

Brilliant podcast, best one on the market for sure. One note but I've never been a fan of guests. The poor mic quality and interview style is sub-par compared to the rest of the podcast - similar with rugby pod, I skip the interviews. Might just be me but less interviews the better.
