That's The Real Gangster! Alex Emelianenko vs. The Giants of Pride FC
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 9 июн 2023
- Alexander Emelianenko was among the heavyweight cream-of-the-crop. Blistering speed, brutal chokes and merciless ground-and-pound - the younger Emelianenko had all it takes to dominate in MMA. Now, the most talented of the 3 brothers is a shadow of his former self, taking fights against RUclipsrs to entertain the local audience. So it would be nice to reminisce about the heyday of Emelianenko jr.

I always loved how he looked like he just woke up 😂
Hes a legit example of a younger sibling of a super high achiver .....Fedor on paper is the poster boy, disciplined, reserved and controlled whilst Alexander is wild, uncouth and rowdy.....both guys naturally gifted but as different as chalk and cheese
Хахахххагхахагагагга

Alex vs Fedor is the best example of talent vs hard work.

Pride FC was incredible to watch. It was and still is miles better than anything the UFC could ever do.
Yeah.....clearly rigged fights against tomato cans are heaps better ay?
@@countdoogula2781 sounds like you dont know about how UFC gives bonuses to fighters like its a video game.
if you do a lot of cool shit in the fight, they give you more money. because its about the specticle and not about fighting.
the reality is dana probably never would have signed either the of emilinkos because for them, having fights end in 5 seconds isnt good money....
so, the fighters arent trying to win as much as they are trying to get more money.
i think the diaz brothers abused this. its why thier fights were so entertaining even though they were obviously exponentially better than most of their opponents. but still got their shit kicked in.
they make more money if they make it look like they fought 3 hard rounds. as opposed to just eliminating the target 15 seconds after the bell rings.

@@dbspaceoditty yep, Dana has made MMA into a joke. Especially with the Jake Paul gay kid drama.
I never watched Pride back in the day, but the UFC is sure as hell an annoying soap opera joke of an organization. They're more interested in a bunch of drama to make money off of the masses than anything else. Ultimately I don't even mind the drama thing existing(not that I'd watch it) if it weren't for the fact that they play up the childish, disrespectful aspects. It's societally toxic trash. If you act like a disrespectful child, you should be kicked out, not rewarded. Don't encourage children(both young and adult aged) to act like that.
Dude Alexander is super fast for a heavyweight, he also looks 40 at 24 😂🤯

He was an AMAZING fighter who only trained less than half than his peers. With dedication and no craziness, he could have been one of the top 3 ever. Just mind blowing how good he was
yeah some talented people are cursed with their own complacency.
I think he could have been unbeatable. The goat
He was also a really depressive alcoholic and eventually Fedor (brother) renounced him. Sad. Many such cases.
Why he had no ground game and and his stand up was average. Knocked out by Datsik cold recently
@@mrtravelhub4313 his stand up was way above average. He never trained, he never ate properly, he was overweight, he drank every day. And still knocked out good fighters.
Man. You can see how much Fedor tried to give Alex a chance to improve his life and time and time Alex let him down.
The gift they were given was so insane to just piss away
Not to mention, after Fedor did all of that for his brother, his brother ended up getting Fedor daughter kidnapped!
Imagine had he have actually had dedication and true discipline he would be one of the greatest of all time
Alex is perfect example of what you said. Imagine if most of us had the discipline of his brother Fedor.
I don't know much of alex but I'm just amazed at how good he is with little training. Like, holy hell! People ain't joking when they say he could've been the greatest.
Well as in any sport it's a combination of talent and effort. Often people with a lot of talent put in too little effort.
According to Fedor’s coach, Alex would have been much better than Fedor. He was physically gifted, meanwhile Fedor just worked hard for what he got.
knowing that he wasnt even training is pretty crazy, thats a natural born fighter
Isn't natural born anything, that is a lifetime of violence
Most naturally talented fighter I’ve ever seen alex. Needed better discipline but the talent was undoubtably there
Alexander’s cold dead stare and no emotion as he stepped into the ring was what fascinated me. It was just another day that ended in Y for him. A guy like that had to be scary as hell to step into the ring with.

You can just see how disappointed and sad Fedor was for his brother at times. Could have been a huge champ.
Showing no emotion and an expressionless face. It is almost as if people see what they want to see instead of what actually transpired. Especially people on social media. The reason you listed to as why Fedor began hating Alex isn't why he was cut from Fedor's life. Fedor criticized child fighting in mma that was being held by Ramzan Kadyrov. Ramzan Kadyrov sent goons to attack Fedor's daughter. Alexander Emelianenko later joined Ramzan Kadyrov's mma promotion and public took pictures with Ramzan. Alex was dead to Fedor from then on.
Glad Fedor stuck to his principles. Kadyrov is a POS and Alex joining his payroll proves he’s the same.
@@justchill5628 what is that even supposed to mean?
not true. fedor disowned aleks years before that and made a public statement about why. the last straw was aleks insulting people fedor respected who he felt had helped aleks. there was a history of acrimony, w fedor considering him a drunk, lazy, a shame to the family etc etc but the split was well before kadyrov and fedor apologized to both kadyrov and putin for criticising child mma after being censured for it(unfortunate but welcome to russia). fedor plays ball with the government, plays nice w kadyrov, and keeps his mouth shut
aside from the split happening well before, he wouldnt disown aleks for doing what he himself does(play ball w the powerful people who run russia)

I didn't know there was a third brother! So cool to hear his views. Great video!
Such a born talent - Without focus and discipline, he still delivered really nice, fluid combos, harrowing haymakers, fought well on the ground, and had undisputable submission talent too... I wonder what could've been if he had obtained full focus and discipline... On one hand, I think his technique, power and stamina would've been through the roof. On the other, it might end up dousing his killer instinct; he beat on his opponents like they owed him vodka money... and Alex *really* wanted his vodka money😅
Alex's fists were like cinderblocks with rockets strapped to them. He was a great fighter in his prime and could have possibly surpassed his brother if he was as dedicated to MMA as Fedor was. Unfortunately for him and fight fans he was his own worst enemy. Alexander's hands were so good. In his prime, he only got beat by the best. If he could have stayed out of trouble, quit drinking, & had the discipline to stay in the gym... he might be the heavyweight GOAT instead of Fedor.
I love the enthusiasm but I don't think he was quite on the same level as crocop, Nogueira, and fedor. Of course, neither is Kevin Randleman. So, yea, it's MMA, get hit by the wrong punch by someone training at top level of fighting, it's over
Oh, but let's be realistic though, Crocop, Fedor, and Nogueira were all just light heavyweights beating up on HWs cuz they were awesome like that. They were weighing as low as 219 in their fights
Ya. You’re totally correct. All of those guys were undersized HWs. Maybe they didn’t like dieting or weight cuts. That’s what made all 3 of them so great. They where often fighting huys that were taller & outweighed them by 30 lbs. Pride FC didn’t cut off the HW class at 265 lbs like the UFC. They let giants compete… even if they were just for freak show fights.
Man that hand speed is some of the fastest I have ever seen. To top it off his accuracy is unbelievable. Had he taken MMA more seriously I do believe he would have been a world champion in any organization he chose to fight in. It was really sad how he let that life control him.

I know when I was hired at a topless club it wasn't because I was big, just the opposite. The owner was tired of big doormen because all the drunk tough guys wanted to prove that the big bouncers weren't tough. So the owner hired myself and my best friend. My friend is 5'9" and I'm barely 5'7" but we both are black belts, have been boxing since we were in elementary school and besides that we were smart enough to be able to talk to people to get them to calm down or in my case, because I was smaller I'd tell someone if he didn't stop whatever it was he was doing that he'd have to leave. They always said, "who is gonna make me leave?" I'd say, I am. They would kinda laugh but kinda get that questioning look like I wasn't joking and maybe my size didn't matter. I like his strategy of not looking his opponent in the eye. Anger is an emotion that drains people. It can be counterproductive to your cardio. Remove it and your often already one up on your opponent.
