I've been watching all the videos for this whole show. The crowd there is fucking awesome! Singing all the songs and nailing all the backup vocals without any cues. This had to be one of the best live shows to be at.
I don't usually like chic singers... BUT... there is a girl in the audience that you can hear once in a while in these videos and her voice is AWESOME! If Corey picked her up to do back up vocals I would not be pissed at all. Nameless/faceless girl in the audience Rock On Girl!
Because it's in a smaller, enclosed space so the microphones pick up their voices better. Dude if you've ever been to a show as big as Rock am Ring you'll know the crowd can be fucking loud.
When I show to some people, they doesn't believe that he's the singer of Slipknot. His voice is perfect, the people think that he doesn't sing well because the screams in Slipknot but isn't true.
Corey is the best!! I love listening to metal, but yet I also like listening to alternative, classic rock, jazz,electronic, and classical. But to bash someone that loves music and loves doing what they do I find is just pure sadness. I enjoy music, and music is what has gotten me through the tough portions of my life and still as of yet. The most simple thing that one can do if they don't like what they hear is just turn their cheek and move on. As for Corey Taylor, you rock!!! I enjoy your music no matter what shape or form and will enjoy listening to whatever you make.
He puts so much energy into this that it almost doesn't even feel like an acoustic version. It has just as much if not more energy than the original studio version. Of course it could be that great audience singing along. And you can tell he appreciates their participation. It's written all over his face! Fucking love this dude!

It's such an amazing feeling knowing that he sounds exactly the same from albums to live. I've seen slipknot twice in the pst few years and it was absolutely incredible how amazing he sounded. That's what's awesome about metal. From listening to albums and then seeing them live and they sound the same. Like fucking pop artists and shit, they sound terrible because of how much auto tune in the studio. I'm so glad I was raised on metal and not the shit there is nowadays
