Great review, Dan, as always. Transformers fans could learn a lot from your attitude. Instead of so much in-fighting and arguing about which continuity or media is the right or definitive one, we should all be able to accept that these properties mean different things to different people. I love the way MOTU is taking the best aspects from all eras and continuites and giving something to everyone for the classics line.

Included in this version of She-ra, there aren't the "classic" tiara and mantle? I like the classic version of her, but the body I prefer, because of the details on armour, is the 2.0... I know that in the first version there are the old doll tiara and another head... Is it correct?

another win, dan. thanks. i just realized the other day, my motuc monthly experience is now not complete without your reviews preceding my figure arrival. it's integral. in fact, when your prior review was late, it felt didn't feel right when i opened the white mailer. keep it up :)
Finally I notice someone turning the mask over and doing it how originally She-Ra was done with the original figure and in the Mini Comics before the animated series came out and then made the changes they did. Because she first started off basically in the same outfits as Adora and She-Ra, except when she was She-Ra the head piece was changed and she had a mask to conceal her identity. I noticed this vid and I was going to watch and see if you actually did that..... and you did :) That is how originally at first She-Ra was done.
When I was a kid we used to make our own bubble fluid by mixing water with washing up liquid :)

Awesome, I remember me playing He-Man against my sister & her She-Ra figures, Ha, those were the days, She-Ra was always an interesting line & how it tied in w/ He-Man was cool, I loved Hordak, he was He-Man all the way when I played w/ em', lol, This is a cool variant of She-Ra & looks outstanding, very cool.
She Ra 2.0 debuts the new female body on Masters Classics!
Would've been perfect if they throw in a filmation style tiara clip-on or head so we can get a normal She-ra without having to have the first release....for fans who got into it later on.
Very nice review man.. i have to buy the two she-ras now..
1. New She-Ra's body is a bit slimmer at the waist. I guess she's been skipping a few meals.
2. This is the She-Ra body Mattel should have made in the first place.
3. I wonder how many cheap bubble power parts with old She-Ra bodies are going to be flooding ebay after this release.

I had no idea that was a mask. I don’t think my sister did either. We knew about the ring though.
As did Skeletor, Count Marzo, and Horde Prime.
I hope this doesn't sell out before I can get her...

Dan, maybe not right now but sometime in the future, could you do a collection video? You sometimes done this on a smaller scale at the end of a video but I really looking forward to looking at the complete collection so far. Maybe you could split it into end of year videos eg figures released end of 2008, then 2009 etc. I realize that will require effort on your part so if you're busy, I understand. Just thought it would be good filler video
You're killing me! Maybe you should change you're name to Convincing Dan. First was BG Evil Lynn, and now BP She-Ra. I was gonna pass on both now I'm getting two!
couldnt you just cut a slit on the skirt on the original she ra, because just to get a perfect she ra you would have to buy 2 she-ras which is like $22 each
Ok, Is it any change to get a right She-ra filmation head coz the face of the original she-ra doesn't realy has the same color to the BP body...I mean the face is darker than the body and it's a little bit of....So I guess that noone can make his perfect She-ra..

I just grabbed my 1.0 She-Ra, she can turn her waist just fine. It's underneath the skirt.

These figures need rooted hair
I know it's a matter of preference, but I'm personally glad they didn't use rooted hair or soft goods on figures in the MOTUC line. IMHO it allows greater detail to the sculpting and it's nice to finally have the characters from all the various MOTU iterations done in one consistent style. That's something I wanted since I was a kid and used to play with MOTU/POP figures with my cousins.
The first She-Ra was better
