      I feel you... :D
Btw I don't know if you knew this already (I learned it just some time ago), but pressing *F12 (closing all open plugin windows in FL Studio) makes a huge difference in speed* if you have many plugins open on the screen before doing that - FL CPU meter and RAM meter don't show any difference in their utilization %, but trust me, if you have big lags, stutters etc, just press F12 and you'll notice a big difference. I haven't ever heard anyone mention this anywhere either!
Smart disable helps a lot too, the only problem is Fruity Sends which lag because of it sometimes. You can just switch the smart disable off on them afterwards, solving that.
I got a new pc, Dell XPS just some time ago, and I gotta say that playing around with the old one was a nightmare sometimes. For example, I had to master one of my songs in 2 parts because TDR Nova, TDR Kotelnikov and Ozone 9 were just too much at the same time.

I will take youtube over a long, redundant and meandering curriculum any day of the week.
That's not even taking into account this is free, and let's me buy musical tools and resources instead, for which I have time to use.

Paradox here from the server, let me just chip in with a little bonus tip. A clever way of keeping the important presets handy is to actually save them as your own and they will appear in the upmost group where the default preset is. You can go even further than that and number them and load them even faster simply by pressing the effect's number for example if you label them 1Reverb 2Compressor etc, once you get used to it will just be instant muscle memory, you will automatically press 1 if you need reverb, 2 for compressor etc. A minor organization preparation that can further speed up your workflow. Go Patcher!

You probably know about it, but I found out about something called the magic lasso where you can select multiple notes by circling your mouse around those notes (no clicking) and you can time stretch them and do pretty cool stuff with it. You can even thread through notes to select very specific ones.
If you wanna enable it just click the arrow in the top left corner of the piano roll and then click select and then click magic lasso.
Just an idea in case you make an fl studio tips video. :)

i never used patcher up until recently, maybe like a year or two ago. besides the hidden effects in there, patcher is one of the most powerful tools in FL that every producer should at least try to learn.

Thank you! I was always curious about Patcher but never really knew it's true potential. I think these presets are also a great way to learn mixing itself since one can reverse engineer what happens behind the scenes when we change these parameters. :)

i actually use the patcher and did some quite complex patching inside (for example i made a patch for 3d binaural panning), but i never thought about the presets. Nice to know! i will have a look and try them out. seems to be some really interesting stuff within these presets
