In the UK, we have general elections, each party declares its manifesto, and they do the hustings based on that manifesto. But when we had Euro elections, you never ever saw a candidate come round with a manifesto, because, they didn't make the laws. It was just those select few (unelected commissioners), who decided new laws.

France could and did stop them as UK had agreed to .the Dublin Agreement, until your PM triumphantly announced that UK was leaving the said agreement. BREXIT WAS NEVER IMPLEMENTED BECAUSE THE WHOLE ESTABLISHMENT DID NOT WANT IT.they never knew the establishment on the depth of feeling of the britsh people if they did we would never have had a referendum.
Did you know? that SLOUGH was one of the biggest voters of Brexit? Slough is mostly Asian, I know I live here! They didn't want more Polish, Romanians etc... coming in....
