i got into Smosh when it was just the OG gang and even though i love them, i think the current era of Smosh is their best era. Even Courtney has said on the podcast that Angela, Chanse and Arasha joining has breathed new life into Smosh and has made her continue staying with them because she thought about leaving at some point

Its future was uncertain for a really long time, but now since Anthony's returned and with the new additions to the cast, the company has found its identity again and you can really feel it in the newer videos
I started watching Asian BLs a year ago, with Cutie Pie being the second I tuned into. There’s just a couple of interesting things I think I should point out.
1. A “pilot” is not a first episode there. It’s essentially a ten minute long trailer that focuses a bit more on capturing the theme and story of the show. Many BL production companies will film and release the pilot before ever filming the show. This makes it incredibly frustrating for a lot of fans, because they will often get hyped for a show, then 5 months later, they get news that the production is no longer happening. The Next Prince has been in the planning/pre-production stage for at least a year and a half. They actually released a pilot at the end of 2022 and was slated for a release in 2023, but kept being pushed back. A lot of fans were nervous this show may never see the light of day. Earlier this year, they filmed another pilot for The Next Prince, and released it. They have not even begun to film the actual show yet. They are finishing filming a separate show called Zomvivor first, then they’ll get started on The Next Prince. All the scenes in the pilot will be reshot.
2. The fan/shipping culture can be toxic. When two boys have great chemistry together, they tend to be paired up for everything (multiple shows, ads, concerts) and because they are making so much money from the wild fans, they often give a lot of “fan service” and pretend they are a real couple. Some of them may be real (likely ZeeNunew is) but no one really knows unless they genuinely confess it. Fans who are adamant that a couple are dating without solid proof are considered “delulu,” short for delusional. Anyway, sometimes one of the boys gets paired up with someone new, and several toxic fans will hate on the new guy. They will send death threats and accuse the new guy of breaking up their favorite couple. Or they’ll hate on the guy left behind because he must not have been good enough. Before Zee met Nunew, he was paired with a different man in a show called Why R U? A lot of people loved their chemistry and wanted to believe they were together off screen as well. After Why R U?, the guy he was paired with got paired up with someone else. As I understand it, Zee got a lot of hate online. There were people who started spreading false information trying to defame him as a person. You can see in videos around that time of him, he was very depressed. He’s even said that he was about ready to give up acting altogether because of the hate he was experiencing. Nunew had just signed with Domundi, and he was very new to the entertainment profession. He had said in one of his initial interviews that Zee was his celebrity crush. Nunew had been paired with someone else in the agency and a show was being planned. The guy he was with got an opportunity to be in a different show, so he took it, and this left Nunew with no partner. Then, at a photoshoot, Zee and Nunew met for the first time. Zee was immediately stunned by Nunew’s beauty and talent. Since he didn’t have a partner, and neither did Nunew, and because he was so enamored with the new kid already, Zee specifically asked to be paired with Nunew and they began shooting Cutie Pie. As they became comfortable with each other, Zee got his smile back, and they eventually became the couple they are today. Some fans who hadn’t gotten over Zee’s relationship with his previous partner were upset, and I’m sure Nunew received some hate for it, but their chemistry is so good that most fans were won over by ZeeNunew, and several more people who had no knowledge of Asian BL, were becoming interested in it because of them (me included.) Zee has called his and Nunew’s meeting and partnership “Pruk destiny,” believing it to be fate that they met when they did. They have said in interviews that they don’t cater to fan service much, that how they act in front of fans is how they act when it’s just them.
I hope you react to more ZeeNunew content. And if you want to check out any other BL pairings, I would recommend BillyBabe and FirstKhao. If you want to see an example of some absolute over-the-top fan service, look no further than Taiwanese BL pairings. It’s insane the lengths they’ll go to make fans squeal with excitement over their favorite couple.
Just so you know, Zee's partner Saint in Why R U? was previously paired with Perth in the BL Love By Chance. The reason Zee got hate was because PerthSaint fans were upset because they felt like Zee came between Perth and Saint. (Saint wasn't in the sequel Love By Chance 2, so people were upset that Perth was left alone in that show) However, Zee did absolutely nothing wrong. Saint auditioned for Why R U? by his own choice and Zee was cast opposite him. But delusional fans put both of them through horrible rumors, accusing Zee of stalking and other hatful things just because he happened to be seen at the same events or locations as Perth and Saint, etc. It got so bad that Zee even thought of giving up ever being a BL actor again, until he met Nunew and he discovered he just needed to find a partner that supported him and understood him.

Many Thai BL series are available on official RUclips channels of the production companies. Each episode is divided into 4 parts as separate video. However, those the series on RUclips are limited with scenes cut short or completely cut out. Sometimes they cut NC scenes (not-for-children) or if there is no NC in the episode then a non essencial scene. Series will generally be aired on Thai TV and after the ep has aired it will be available on a streaming platform and/or RUclips. The release is about an hour later after the series has aired on TV.

The girls didn't ask ZeeNunew about their date, because everyone already knows about it. ZeeNunew often livestream while on dates and they communicate directly with fans who are watching. And if they don't livestream then they usually post comments and photos about their dates afterwards, etc. So we don't need to ask about it because all their fans and pretty much all of Thailand have already seen it all. Seriously, ZeeNunew are so popular that whenever they do anything the national news reports on them.
Also, I love the way they look at each other and how you can tell they have certain feelings for each other, and also I always will love how sarcastic Amy is at times with Jonah

I think there was actually a bit of a hostile work environment during this era of Smosh. Their parent company had a lot of control over the decisions made. Some of the girls have said they were put into some uncomfortable situations and there was very little Ian and Anthony could do at the time.

Honestly, maybe you shoulnd react to more Superstore videos, you have some PTS from your previous job lol. They are not nasty cheaters, at all. The POI video was a character study only rather than a focus on the show, the other video I recommended is a focus on the relationship between John and Carter. But the show is great but they should've ended it after S3 imo
