Literally the best shartney video BY FAR. There's a lot of videos like this now that give lil "Easter eggs" of their relationship. Just as Shayne said on smosh mouth. Before he said anything about these vids, I would see clips of them that didn't really indicate anything romantically. As someone who never watched a single Smosh video until like 2 days ago and didn’t know about the whole “are they dating” mystery, it seems really obvious with how Shayne interacts with her in all these past videos. So many times he’s just been really casually thoughtful and supportive to her.
i'm a relatively new smosh watcher (about a year or so) and i always felt so bad about internally shipping them and thinking they had great chemistry bc they made it clear that it made them uncomfortable. so after april 1st, going back and watching all the videos of them that i watched previously and thought 'they'd make a great couple' has been so satisfying lmfao
Great to see their relationship evolve over time where he seemed generally a little bit closed off to a relationship (as just her coworker) and she (on camera sometimes) came off as a tiny bit smitten. She fell for him over time and he definitely softened around her as he became her best friend and it has been wonderful to see them learn to love each other.
