All the ranchers out there deserve a huge thank you from all of us. Your job and those of the farmers are the toughest ones and are much appreciated. Stay safe.
Ranchers and farmers alike!
@@paulprigge1209 yep..that's what I said :)
Amen to that!
@George...yes! We need them too!!
Bryan, you and the wife have done an excellent job raising Cole. Thank you all for what you do appreciate it.
More people need to watch this to see that farmers do take very good care of their animals.
DDD sshh you'll awaken the vegan's. Jk. LOL! 😆
Great video Cole, hats off to You and Brian for enduring such harsh weather to tend to your herd. Another unsung act of the American Farmer. Keep them coming!
One thing for sure is that Brian and Tammi y’all have done an outstanding job raising your three sons! I’m so glad y’all are staying warm. I truly appreciate all our farmers do! Not just during subzero winter days but above 100 degree summer days as well! From the bottom of my heart…THANK YOU❣️
Happy Birthday Tammi 🥳🎂
So many days I find peace in seeing a Sonne Farms video in my playlist. Amidst the busyness and chaos of the world, it is refreshing and always a joy watching you do your work. Thank you so much.
Could not have said it better
Agree with you
Thank you Cole for feeding the world 🙏
Happy Birthday Tammy ! Keep warm and enjoy your day !
God bless our farmers. Feeling guilty sitting outside in the warm sunshine here in Texas. Almost 80 today ! Hang in there guys
The cattle are going to be comfortable through this cold and stormy weather, thanks to Brian and Cole. Happy Birthday Tammy!!!
Cole, you spoke the forbidden words, "Does that mean I get more in the will?" lol Brian was at a loss for words! ha 🤣 We know that you were just joking around with Brian because of the great relationship you have with your Dad. Decades ago, we use to get snow blizzards like you get, but now we don't get much snow here in Omaha. Seeing the blizzard there reminds me so much of the snow storms we would get, when I was a kid on our farm in N.E. Nebraska. Thanks to you farmers and ranchers for all the hard work and extreme conditions you endure, so that we all can eat! Cheers!
That snowpusher is such an improvement and time saver! Gonna make a great silage blade too
Rolling Stones Gimme Shelter... what an Iconic song. I think everybody recognizes that tune as soon as they hear it.
Happy birthday Tammy looks like your getting the gift of seeing your grand babies hope you have a wonderful day
Looks like the new to you all 12ft snow plow worked pretty good! Appreciate how many gates you all go through with tight clearance.
Such hard work keeping the critters warm and fed! Yay team! Yay multiple camera angles. And yay twins.
I'm hoping you guys won't have this cold weather for very long!! May GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL FAMILY!!
Cole, praying for you and all the farmers and families dealing with these storms!
I’m sitting in front of a heater and freezing watching you guys. Stay safe, and thanks for all you guys do for us!! 👍🇺🇸
So glad to see that everyone is safe from the storm. Sure hope that all that snow helps during the crop season; especially since you guys haven't really had much snow in the last several years. The calves are looking great! So cute!! And a set of twins!! How cool!! Keep safe with the cold temps and more storms coming through.
Good video Cole, Brian, and Ellie. Late Happy Birthday, Mama Sonne.
Oh my hard work on a cold day. Great father-son interaction which is great to see. Good on you guys and your families.
My job during the winter was plowing snow. Sometimes I would plow for 12 hrs. So I understand what you are going through. You're doing a good job.
wow!
Thank you Farmers for all you do, not said enough.
Never had a doubt you guys would do all you could for the cattle. Great job Cole and Brian! It’s been in low 80’s here in West Texas. Actually 80’s one day and 60’s the next. Had yard clean up done only to go out next morning to find hundreds of pine cones and tree branches down. Yes, we have pine trees in Texas! Just a special kind that requires lots of treatment to keep healthy. Pray any more snow isn’t so bad!
I was anxious to see how much snow y'all got. Answer? A lot. It is great to watch you guys take such good care of your animals. Those babies are so cute. Happy birthday Tammy. Hope it was a warm and happy one. Y'all stay safe.
I have been watching your channel for a year now. It started at the beginning of calving season last year and here we are back again. I believe I have watched every single episode. I’ve tried my best to thumbs up every one, but I’m old and I forget stuff and typically I’m busy doing something and miss the opportunity. Love all the videos. Glad someone else is doing the work.
I’m surprised that I have not seen you do a Moo test. Perhaps I missed that episode. When my brother and I were very young, we would ride in the back of my great grandfathers pick up going down the dirt roads in Nebraska. We were both standing up in the back with her arms and hands on the top of the cab real safely like.
When we came upon a field of cows, me and my brother would yell “MOO” really loud and see how many cows would look our way. If only a few would look, we knew we had to get better at our Moo. So with practice, we could get the cows to look our way with about 80% return on our investment.
Our Moo test seemed to only work in Nebraska. In other states, no return on our investment. Zero cows would look our way after a humongous “moo”. With my brother no longer around, my daughter takes on as second Mooer. We have found other states like Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, and our own Minnesota, we could not get cows to respond to the big Moo. There was a time that my daughter and I were able to go back to Nebraska and do the Moo test. Recalibrate if you will. We got upwards of 60% to 80% response . Even from inside a car. But other Midwest states, crickets.
I think you need to do a Moo Test. Soon. It’s long overdue. But I know nuthin about cows. Just sayin. Oh, and don’t say it’s an accent thing.
Have a great season.
ROI 🤣
Awesome video of Amazing Farmers taking care of livestock!! Glad you were able to get all the chores done and no break down !! When it's that cold, things just seem to happen
You farmers put your animals first; you are good caretakers and stewards of God's creatures. Your weather brings back memories. I live in San Antonio now, but I grew up in New England, and I am happy to be away from that winter weather.
Happy Birthday, Tammy! May you have many more! SD: Great Faces, Great Places! Those Great Faces look even greater when they have a little frostbite on them. Who wouldn't want to live in SD?
Much appreciation for what you do to bring food to our table. You take such great care of these cows to keep them healthy and well fed. Can’t thank you enough❤❤❤
Wow that pay loader an the snow pusher is a huge asset to the farm for many different jobs ! Silage pusher snow pusher , etc .. great investment Cole an Brian , i always enjoy your videos, never miss a one 👍💯
Stay safe in the cold guys. Always look forward to your new videos. This is mine and my 1 1/2 year old son’s favorite channel to watch. He comes home from daycare every day and wants to watch the moo moos lol. God bless you guys and your families and thank you for all that you do
Must be a smart little guy….lol! Thanks for watching.
You guys are a huge inspiration to all people of this world. I grew up in a large farming family in upstate New York, and y'all are what makes America great. I tip my hat to you both. Thank you for sharing your hardy and rewarding existence with us....Gordon
where abouts in NY, I am from Hudson.
Do you know farmers sexually violate animals to force them to reproduce? Bestiality is a sin and it should be a crime.
Thank you Cole and Brian for sharing another brilliant video in your very busy day and also still have time to make me laugh 😂Happy birthday Tammy 🥳🥂
i sure would like to farm in south dakota, here i'm having to look at my peach tree blossoms and needing to starting thinking about mowing grass, with 70 degree temps, in a tee shirt. poor poor pitiful me. i thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Awesome video so much beautiful snow Cole and Brian please pray for me o I just had my left shoulder replacement surgery Monday I am so happy to finally had it done stay warm outthere Rosa olbera
Wow!! You two men amaze me with how much work you do everyday, and most of all you get alone GREAT!!! Thanks for sharing your daily operations, I look forward each time to watch.
Thank you so much!
You and your dad are an amazing team! Thank you for sharing your life on the farm with us. I have such a deeper appreciation for all you do. I pray you and the animals are safe. How many twins so far? Have the mothers accepted both of them? Love to see the whiteboard stats.
Great job guys. You are a tough breed. Thank you 🙏
Bless you and all farmers for what you do on days like this ! ❤️
Dad and you picked the right year and the right loader to have on the farm. 👍👍👍
I feel for you guys calving during this cold weather.
Cool looking sundogs in the sky behind you at 8:06 --ice crystals in the sky. It must have been really cold up there.
A lot of your work looks very gratifying, feeding in a tractor, blowing snow in a bobcat, hustling Brian for inheritance in a side×side, but Dayum it looks cold otherwise! Thanks for all the hard work!
Gonna have to plug in your block heaters tonight. Stay warm and safe ! Love how you care for the critters ❤️
Happy Birthday Mrs. Sonne. Sure hope you had a great day. Awesome video Cole and Mr. B. Thank you both
Happy birthday Tami, hope you have a wonderful year ahead.
Super video xx
Glad to see all the calves keeping warm in the barn.
Thats alot of snow even before the big snow!! Take care both of you xx
I like the game face on Cole when he's moving snow total concentration.
Im in the zone
while i'm recovering from my shoulder replacement surgery, these video's give me something to laugh about. Brian and Cole I think i'll come there for mt rehab, since you both are so caring and loving to all your animals (haha)
Good luck with rehab!!
Sorry to hear it's so cold and all the snow you have to move. Hoping it starts to warm up for you soon. 🙏
I am a bit of aworrier but it is hard for me to imagine the things YOU worry about BRIAN along with a whole lot of farmers the world over. THANKYOU BRIAN andCOLE for letting us into YOUR FAMILIES LIFE. Keep up the good life
You are right Bob, and it keeps me up at night.
God Bless our farmers, and their animals.Happy Birthday Tammi
Happy Birthday Tammy have a awesome day with your family 🎉🥳🎂
The sun dog was amazing (time 8:02 on vid), that is the best one I've seen out here. Hope that will be the last bad storm this year. Stay safe out there.
You reminded me that I chose Southern Florida for the consistent Caribbean Weather patterns. Thank you , I love your channel
Wow!!!! What a big snowplow!!!!!! Really makes the job faster…. Hope the cold is going to get better for you!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉 Happy Birthday Tam!!!!!
Anytime I think "south dakota looks beautiful... maybe that should be our next move..." you go and show me this... you are a brave and hardy soul
O.M.G. ! At 00:08:00 COLE ! ! ! That backround sky was a HUGE display of high altitude ice crystals forming RHaylo's
Happy Birthday Tammy. Hope all your boys were good to you
You guys are awesome 💪🏼👍 Sonne farms Dad raised his children the right way 👍stay warm be safe 🤗Aloha from Hawaii🤙🏽😎🌴
Glad yall are doing well with the snow and cold. The loader and the plow did great! With the powdery snow and the wind you jave a backpack leaf blower would get the snow out of the bunks good!
Looks like another fun day up there above the Artic circle.
Well, as far as us in Miami-Dade County are concerned it is.
Excellent song of the day choice given you could freeze to death in a new york minute without the proper 4 to 5 levels of clothing and it's going below zero your next day.
Definitely makes it set in stone I'll never move back up to northern Michigan again.
Happy Birthday to Brians mom and Cole's Grandma.
Ouch! I’m Brian’s wife, not his mom. 😂😂😂
Lots of good moisture❤ Keep taking good care of babies
I've been to S.D. many times in the summer.
But I think the coldest my toes ever got was snow mobile riding in the B.H.
It was extreme fun , my toes (and feet) hurt all night.
Nxt day I put warmers in my boots & doubled down on socks..
You guessed it...sweaty feet !
Another great video Cole, it sure does look cold there. I think I smell your next skid steer project, a skid mounted rotary brush attachment for cleaning out food bunks. Keep up the great work, always look forward to seeing a new video posted,
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
Super job moving all that snow. The blade you got for the payloader works wonderful. You are really moving a lot of snow with it.
My compliments for the fine care you are giving your herd and calves in this bad weather. Tough going for you both.
Hang in there you guys.
Weather like this is hard to work in.
Thanks to both of you.
The Iowa Farm Boy.
Thanks 👍
Never thought of all the gates, feed bunks and fences that Farmers and Ranchers have to move snow from in order to get in to care for Their animals.
A happy belated birthday to your lovely mom, hope she had a awesome day, even though mother nature was showing some teeth.
So much moisture this winter. I hope it helps with the crops. Glad you are all safe.
Kids are adorable. Happy birthday Tammy. My birthday is the 8th. I'm still waiting for a calf to be named after me. Lol. Call on fireball
I remember scooping out 50 yards of feed bunk in the am, and doing it again that night. Did that for 2 weeks. That winter we did NOT see anything above zero for the better part of a month. Frost bite was a daily issue.
Happy Birthday Tammy!
Happy birthday Tammy 🎉
Good job today Cole keep shewing them cows seems to help. Please stay warm and stay safe in that weather. Also parents won't say nothing about favorite or will on video lmao. No but great job and thank u both for hard work.
Wow Brian and Cole that’s a lot of snow more than I’ve seen in Boston all winter and I was complaining about 7 inches of snow we just got which has been the most. We’ve gotten all winter but it’s been easy for us this winter but it’s been cold and my chickens don’t like the cold and neither do the ducks. All I can say is keep warm stay safe and yeah, a little fireball won’t hurt once in a while even though I don’t partake, I can’t tell you can’t if it keeps you warm it keeps you warm❤❤
Happy Birthday Tami keep safe an warm have a day love from TEXAS
Watching this, I realize you got that 3 days of horrible weather right after we did. I can only imagine what the next video of snowmaggedon looks like from your neck of the woods. I love how helpful Elly is!!
Keep up the great work fellas! Thank you all for your hard work for us.
Love your videos of normal life on a farm. Rewards are great to be able to work outside where God intended. I know it’s hard work been there, but in the end you are feeding the world.
Happy Belated Birthday Mrs Tami! Hope you had a fantastic day being spoilt by the Sonne Frames family. 🎂🎉🎁🥂
I spy some warm n snazzy new gloves Cole, just in time for the big freeze. Noice! 😁🙏💙🦘
Great show, I'm just sorry it's so cold back there. If I could send y'all some warm, I would !
I was worried how you would make our during and after the blizzard Glad to see you’re doing OK. It sure is a lot of snow and so cold.
Hello 🙋♂️both
First time I watch ur vlogs
I'm from Mumbai India🇮🇳
I luv ur vlogs amazing👍😍
Just watching that makes my old bones hurt.
I feel so sorry for you and your family! I grew up in in Penna., near Lancaster!! Winters were bitter. Spring was always so very welcome!!!!! Dad was always fighting the elements!
I have never seen men work so hard to survive! Ice broke big tree limbs, salvage crops from summer storms and always stay in front of the next disaster!
Snow
and cold makes for harder work Great video 👍👍
Enjoy every single video. Thanks, Cole.
Ohhh triple Sun dog at 7:50... One above and one on either side, made Cole all angelic (we know the truth!).
Tells you that's it's cold cold cold... you live in a place where the wind hurts your face so you don't have to deal with scorpions and snakes... Also that's where your ancestors decided to go, crazies.
Thank you ranchers, cattlefolk, and farmers for put up with Mother Natures wrath in all her forms. I appreciate the items you put on my table.
I long to live like this.
As soon as we sell our home here in Michigan, I will be out there making it happen!
Your videos are helping me catch up after 30 years away from farming. I worked on a dairy operation in the 90s, so much has changed!
We catch the brunt of the wind ( 60-100 mph +) and snow in Wyoming so that South Dakota has an easier time dealing with it. That's why we are here is to help are neighbors in South Dakota. GOD BLESS you and your family Cole, Brian and Emily.
thank you for your service ;)
Sonne Ski Hills stay safe and warm 🙏🙏💕💕🇨🇦
Great video. God Bless Sonne Farms.
Yall stays warm and safe during the cold weather
Another great video Cole. We keep saying thanks for the moisture here in NW Iowa but we’ve gotten over 5’ of snow this winter and we keep getting a couple inches every week it seems. I’m ready for SPRING! By the way, I bet you wished you would have shut the shed door so there wasn’t a huge drift in there to clean out!
God Bless our farmers.
🇫🇷 discovered your channel one mth ago // allways impressed by ranching in South and North Dakota or Wyoming with all these winter storms .. amazing for Europeans to see investment required to move snow and how cows adapt themselves living outside in negative temp … impressive .. keep save and congrats again for your work
Thanks a ton!!
Happy birthday mom--all that snow is a pretty sucky birthday present! Love the snow pusher, great gadget.
I'm laying in the hospital watching this video because it makes me feel less alone. You two make me forget for a little bit. I absolutely love you like fam. Xo Dona from Indiana
Hope you get better soon!
Dona, Im sorry to hear you are in hospital. I am glad we can take away a little pain and loneliness for a while. Stay strong!
Hello from Manitoba, fully understand what you guys are going through take care guys!!
When Cole asked about the will Brian should have looked at him and said “ Son you can have all the water out of the well you want.”
