Prices of ESP guitars are through the roof right now! I wouldn't even know where to start bc they all seem to be over $2,500 and to me, that's crazy! I was buying these for $800 just a few years ago! It's supply and demand and the supply is limited bc no one wants to sell theirs, so just have your money ready, find an ESP you love and ask the seller what's their best price for an immediate sale. Uuummm... Sounds like you're not familiar with the Kahler licensed Floyd Rose from the early 1990s. You should Google it when you get the chance. Simple mistake. This is my fourth ESP with Kahler licensed ESP Floyd Rose. Not something you see too often but trust that they exist and have owned several.
@@louistorres oh I see...or actually I didn't see it was the Kahler version. Kahler made so many different bridge and trems, I forgot they had an actual licensed exact copy. Great guitars and video dude!
I've only seen them on ESPs so it may have been something they did exclusively after they stopped working with Sinclair. It was Kahler right after then I guess they fully switched to Floyd Rose around the mid-late 1990s. The last ESP MII Deluxe I owned was the same and came with a Kahler FR bridge with ESP stamped on the end and a small square stamping with "Kahler Designed"
Ok I have an off topic question I'd like your opinion on. All my amp heads can run at either 8 or 16 ohms. Im looking to buy a new cabinet and my question is there a sound difference between the 2 or will they sound about the same? I figured you have enough gear to answer this..lol
In my opinion, 16 ohm cabinets always sound a little better and actually, I can't say a little. It's a noticeable difference but lots of amps are 8ohm, so you'd be stuck at times but literally, check some comparison videos, 16ohm is greater for sure!
Dude, a hardcase is actually worse for transporting a guitar than a padded gigbag. A good gigbag with proper padding is gonna protect a guitar much better from a drop, because the padding acts like a cushion and can absorb any energy from a drop, similar to an airbag in a car.

That neck looks pretty thick. I've never owned a real ESP. I had a LTD GL-600ss the neck was way to wide. Looked bad ass, couldn't play it. Have a cheap Chinese Hanneman, loaned it to a buddy for a few years, he brought it back.... It's all I've been playing. The neck is thicker... really been digging the feel.
it's the JH-200 with the digital urban camo and the khaler. the bridge coil is basically an 85 w/out the preamp .... probably should put a real EMG in it at some point.... but right now .. boosting it after the fact seems to work pretty good. love the Khaler way more than I ever did a floyd . It has a set screw that locks the tension in place for string changes... new strings.... tune it up... stretch em out.... release the set screw and you are still floating the trem the same as before.... way more convenient.

I dont have any experience with their older stuff but I picked up a '06 Esp Forest GT in Japan a couple years ago for the equivalent of about $700 US. It has been one of my favourite guitars that I have ever played and I still cant believe I own it. Wondered how guitars Esp has changed over time and if their quality has ever dropped.
I agree pre-lawsuit ESP has similar headstock to jackson. It was a good thing Jackson forced ESP to change because current ESP headstock is better than Jackson. I know it's just a matter of taste, but I can't stand jackson 6 in line headstock.

Don't do it! Just come to my house next time you're visiting Parkway!
Awesome score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ESP rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those two were a little hit in the wallet though, not gonna lie.
Then you'd probably love the older ESPs from the 80s/ 90s. Which Hanneman do you have! That's awesome!
it's the JH-200 with the digital urban camo and the khaler. the bridge coil is basically an 85 w/out the preamp .... probably should put a real EMG in it at some point.... but right now .. boosting it after the fact seems to work pretty good. love the Khaler way more than I ever did a floyd . It has a set screw that locks the tension in place for string changes... new strings.... tune it up... stretch em out.... release the set screw and you are still floating the trem the same as before.... way more convenient.
I love the reverse headstock esp...maybe too much watching metallica,,of course kirk hammett😆😆....just buy Ltd guitar, for a beginner and affordable price.😁😁
LTD are great guitars!
Awesome guitars man (lovin’ the shirt as well 😉 ). Have you ever tried a Mayones?
Some fire ESP content there. Not helping my ESP GAS situation. The E II line is whats in my price range, but the finishes are super tacky.
I'm looking at a Kemper at my old ass age now! Yo, legit bro... Try to find a used ESP, they'll usually be about $1,000
Kempers are pretty sick. I pondered the idea of picking one up, but I only need 2 sounds anyway. Im super simple. Speaking of which, I been checking out the E II M I. Super simple chug machine. Considering pulling the trigger on one.
E-II M1 or the 1987 LTD M1 Custom Reissue! That's a beast!
@@louistorres Word. the 87 gets some pretty dank vintage hard rock toanz. What kind of Kemper are you trying to get? The toaster, rack, or floorboard?
Hey Louis, just wondering what your thoughts are on the Esp Original series.
Sounds like mic'ed up Vintage 30's on that Marshall or maybe Lead 80s
Fantastic Guitars
Amazing guitars
I agree pre-lawsuit ESP has similar headstock to jackson. It was a good thing Jackson forced ESP to change because current ESP headstock is better than Jackson. I know it's just a matter of taste, but I can't stand jackson 6 in line headstock.
Dude that maple top is THICK
lmao, so that's where that pink reverb esp went...
Did you see that thing on Reverb! Hahaha! Bro, no joke, it's such a gorgeous guitar. I'm just about to swap out pickup in a few minutes too. :)
@@louistorres It's a beautiful guitar, man. Enjoy it!
Thank you, sir!! :)
If that was the stock pickup in the Horizon, it rips.
I'm sure your red m2 custom is my old one , I lost it at house of guitars in slc utah about 2 years ago, never saw another like it, 92 esp catalog cover, im sick that I lost her, but it looks like she has a good home, farewell "red"
I bought it from my buddy Nick but I know he bought it off a music store who was selling it on Reverb. It has the rare gold Floyd Rose licensed Kahler bridge and Kahler nut. If you have any photos of your old, send it to me if you can. :) Did you buy it new or was it second hand? In all the years, I've never seen such a thick maple top on any guitar as this one does.
I do have some pictures, it was a very limited small run from Japan , I bought it in a pawn shop for $ $900 , didn't have a case, I added a tremolno to hardtail the floyd, if you ever sell her, give me first chance, I have some cool guitars I could trade too.
Email address, I'll send pictures of it
Your voice reminds me of someone but I can’t place who.
Keanu Reeves.
Came here for the ESP p0rn. I got a 89 Horizon and an 92 Mirage Deluxe.
Lovely axes's bro
I Have a ESP The Mirage II, Body thru construction, the serial number is 4 digits, located on the fretboard after the 24th feet. If anyone is familiar please respond.
Bro... a Fortin shirt???
HAHAHA! It's funny how I was waiting to see if anyone noticed! Haha!
Louis Torres 🤣🤣🤣
You noticed too!! Hahaha!!
I was gonna say something on Instagram. Hahaha
I envy his gear collection, although if he keeps s
I have an 87 ESP M-I with reverse pre-lawsuit and the ESP trem. It's gloss black.
My father and I added a slant singlestack so now it's Hum-Single config. Any idea what something like that would be worth? Here's a picture imgur.com/a/FrDRgiC
Oh my god! If you ever decide to sell it, I will buy it from you! That's literally the guitar I've been looking for, FOR YEARS!!!! The closest is my M1 but it's the downward pointing pre-lawsuit headstock! Please! I would love dibs on her!
@@louistorres I will let you know. It's my first real guitar when I was 14 years old. My dad spent nearly $1400 on it at Rainbow Guitars here in Tucson Arizona. So, he's 81 years old now, and I may not let it go. Just sentimental for when he passes. But I don't play it anymore. It's sat in it's case since I bought it in 89. (Played in bands for a few years, then stopped when I was 17.) So, knowing that this shit is rare as fuck, I would want someone who knows what it is and wants it to have it. I'll think long and hard about selling it. It's got quite a few dings in it. But, it's def still in fair condition. I'll do a High Res video soon and share it with you another time. Thanks for responding \m/
🔥🔥🔥💪🔥🔥🔥...wow
Crazy, right!
Dude!!! Why this shirt???
I had to! I wanted to see who was paying attention!
i thought you were jared dines lol.
Who's that? Does he have gray hair in his beard too?
@@louistorres he's also a guitar youtuber but he doesn't have gray hair yet
the red one is fire but the third pickup looks like shit
LOL, YOU REPPIN' FORTIN BRAND NOW? AHAHAHA
I've been waiting to see who's paying attention! Hahaha! Look at the comments below, it's pretty funny!
Louis Torres anyway, congrats on your new guitars👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻! I feel so lucky that I cannot play strat-bodied guitars, otherwise I’d be constantly broke 😅. Ordered blacked-out ESP LTD random star with sharp tips this week! I’m mostly into shapes like Jackson warrior, star, Ibanez stoneman
I thought there was a boycott with the company that is on your shirt ??
There was but I'll still rock the shirt as a silly gesture to counter their silliness. Lol
Louis Torres well done !!
Sorry, "MINT" MEANS NEVER BEEN TOUCHED OR HANDLED....
You think mint condition means never used? Come on bro, you must not have ever worked in a store before. When it's USED, Mint means 10/10 which is what this guitar is. Like I made it clear, it looks like it wasn't ever used in all these years. What you're describing is NEW, so all you're doing is bitching bc your wife didn't make you dinner last night. Hahaha. GTFOH. Mint is NOT new, go school yourself before you try to school a dude with 54 guitars. Know what I'm sayin'.
