Before you start getting too involved in this case please be aware that ABC News RUclips channel regularly breaks up their stories into multiple parts but rarely ever shows you the final part. Inevitably you will be left without a resolution and frustrated wondering how it all ends. Just a friendly heads up
NotoriousNoe it’s so annoying
We know how this ends though lol
NotoriousNoe not only that but then they don’t tell you when it airs etc. I checked Nightline and 2020 with no luck.
@Living -living to torture us 😭
Thanks for letting us know! I was looking all over RUclips for part 2 and there is none. Why do that? It makes no sense to upload only one part, thanks alot ABC, and thank you genuinely to #NotoriousNoe for the heads up

It's annoying how hes playing the victim 😡
He learned from women 😂😂😂

He is full of excuses!
@Majestic Alaska Why would you feel sorry for the married woman who was cheating on her own husband & pursuing a relationship with someone else's dog of a husband? She's no better than him. I feel bad for Janier his wife. That's it.
Mark and Meredith are A-holes! What did they think would happen live happily ever after .. what starts wrong ends wrong!
@@missvaleria1722 ye, genere isn't tho right you crazy bitch
Makes me so disgusted people leave a marriage based on “temporary feelings.”
Marriage is a commitment; choice.
So many people could never understand that.
Thank you...they were BOTH selfish.
Real marriage is none existent these days
@@d.e.w.8676 So u don't think his wife was also selfish. It was a relationship.... . I understand the pain of infidelity Im sure we all do. However. The most selfish person in this scenario is the woman who murdered and committed suicide. So to take someone elses childs life, some ones aunt, someone's friend and another man's wife. She murdered someone and didn't even think enough about the people who also loved her as well and ended her own life. And now because of her actions all of these peoples lives will be forever changed and scarred. The alternative result, of a simple divorce, wld have only effected her and her husband. And both wld have an opportunity to reach new goals and purpose.
This woman was calculated, stalked her husband which I don't fault her for but the thought she placed into what she did is sooooo selfish it eclipses the affair her husband had. People unfortunately cheat all the time.... Murder is in no way an equivelant consequence.
@@darwinLee81283 you have a very good point...I am sticking with mine but I will be honest with you...I cannot disagree with you on ANY point you've made...suicide is a very sad and extremely selfish act--i 100% agree with that and I get the pain of rejection by a loved one and being so called replaced. But that THING called KARMA is real and by some sheer inner strength we have to let God do that reap what you sow thing...I wonder if she had not just divorced him how the ending of her story would be by meeting a real man of virtue and seeing the ex dumped by the side chick and getting syphilis (bad analogy). You got good points/opinions!!
It is not fair to this woman. He left her at the worse time of her life. We need to hold this man accountable too.
In every part of this story, he depicts his wife as a bitter crazy lunatic for being shocked and hurt by his betrayal. In a kind of passive aggressive manner, he complains that she had the audacity to record his conversations with his mistress and go confront her. Or that she gave them nicknames on a device: him a cheating liar and her whore. Imagine that! he seems to be saying. Well, technically, they were...
What a coward, what the wife did is horrible, but what he did is such a bitch move. To cowardly to handle one woman so he tried two.
No we do not! Marriages fall apart, people move on, they do no go around killing people. The wife was evil!
@@bellepierre24 Actually yes you do. She killed her ass. Too bad she didn't record it so we could watch it.
@@RizztrainingOrder whoa..... What his wife did is horrible BUT....

But to kill someone and to be so calculated about it. Ain't like she caught them In bed and had a moment of rage.
She stalked him hired a company to spy on him found out where this woman lived broke into her home and shot her In the head. Dude that psychotic af
I would bet my last $50 that he didn’t say “we can’t do this.” After, they kissed.
I'd bet my life savings.
I was thinking the same thing!! Like, sure... that’s what you did 🤔
You can take that to the bank.
Ronnie yes, once they’re both gone he can say anything
that will put him in a better light
How so true.
And now they're both dead and he's making money off of his affair.... so yeah
Adriana D'Almeida this dude is a pimp
let that be a lesson, don't kill your mans lover, or you'll be in jail and your ex husband rich.
No surprise really with a gaslighting sociopath. They're always self serving and neither of those women mattered to him. She killed a d!@# warmer (that's all Meredith was to him, something attractive to show off to other men and ride him) and then she killed herself so he could keep all the money and property he was trying to keep for himself anyway by lying until he could find a way out of the marriage without her knowing about his cheating. What a shame she didn't have support from people who could tell her to take him to the cleaners.
This guy comes across very selfish, and uncaring. I wonder if he sees that in himself when he watches this interview. He didn't do anything that would be worthy of what his wife did in response, but does anyone else think he comes across like a selfish tool?
@Jennifer Velazquez - I'm a man, I have empathy. I haven't looked this case up yet, so I don't know when it happened. But he def shows little to absolutely no remorse for the actions he took, that helped bring about it all. But yes Jennifer, some people have very little empathy and sympathy for others. Not just men.
Agreed. Men can't be trusted without their wives even for a night and they are looking for noekie.

He disgusts me
He might as well pulled the trigger on them himself his lack of integrity and morality caused these murders
This man is trying to act like a victim, he is to blame.
Yes he is
No.. She is to blame for doing what 90% of western women do in marriages which is nothing other than exist..... Him saying "She never told me I was such a wonderful man, ever" was very telling... Western women need to step your game wayyyyyyyy up

Never would have happened if he did not cheat. These men who break their vows and act as if they have no fault in the ugly consequences make me angry.
If you’re going to have an affair, finish the marriage first, ie divorce, then go have the ‘affair’.
Men supposed to have multiple women. It's in the sacred text.
Same with women

he was the victim of his wife sewing gadgets into his clothes
He is a victim - wife committed the heinous act.

Because he was cheating. If you cheat expect the wife to investigate every chance she gets.
@@fromuncledict the victim is the mistress, not him
He was being 'so bluntly honest' by admitting to his adultery after Jennair had recorded him.
Right. Lesson learned hopefully
Yeah a narc is what he is. He gaslit her and treated her like a fool and played with her mind to make her think she was being paranoid...then he pointed out her mental health issues (caused by him playing with her mind) when he was caught as if that made what he did right (because he was running away from the "crazy lady"). This is what gaslighting narcissists do to the minds of their victims.
This is almost the exact same scenario my ex husband did...married 24 years, had an affair, he was making close to $500,000/year. I wasn’t working as I raised our children, stay at home Mom. I found the best divorce attorney in town and went for the jugular. He married the mistress, she was a raging alcoholic and he divorced her. Ummm karma is a bitch.
you go girl!
🤣
Wow , what comes around sure goes around ❤️
If HE Was Honest about not being happy and Wld have just asked for a divorce from you. YOU would still ended up with his Money lol
This is how the courts would favor you as a stay at home Wife in a Divorce. NO MATTER the situation.
So why Would he Be honest and ask for a divorce first for??? Same result either way!
Women Initiate 70% of Divorce just like you did in this Situation. Why do you think this is so high? Because women are financial rewarded. Just like in your case. There is no At fault anymore! Even if "YOU" had cheated, you could still go after the Money in Divorce! So your not making a point. And all of the women on here are gross for JUSTIFYING her Killing the Mistress and herself. Smfh these comments are double standard. So everytime a wife cheats. The husband can kill the Man and himself? No!
2 years later to your comment, I’m so glad to hear about your happy ending! Karma is a bitch. I hope u found peace, love and happiness x
So he wrote a book 🤦🏾♀️.. He took all her youth .. no kids (prob can’t have kids no more).. no job.. new town.. left her for someone younger where he can have kids & start s new life..am I supposed to feel sorry for him
bailey1950 Well she cant now cuz she’s fucking dead???
He’s a prick
Did I miss something? Did he say he was with the younger woman because he wanted kids??
Right#
@@RedLikeWine of course he would have had kids with her. He and his wife decided together not to have kids, and then he moves on to a younger woman who wanted kids. Of course they were. She was disposable because he found "something" new to show off and make him feel special. That's what these gaslighting sociopath cheaters do.
Why are these "men" always "confused" about their feelings. He new he wanted to bed her the moment he saw her and knowing his faithful wife was far away and wouldnt have any idea of knowing was great opportunity for him. He plotted everything in his mind from the get go. If his wife didnt record things and gotten solid proof this affair would have gone on for a long time and he wouldve denied it when she asked and told her she was crazy
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Yup. 💯
When he described his feelings upon meeting and falling in love with Meredith, it makes me think of Chris Watts and Nichole Kessinger. Basically, they're justifying trading in their wives for somebody new.
💯 ✅
Then people call her a "stalker" because he lied to her for months about not cheating and she recorded them. They were married and he was stringing her along to weedle his way out of their marriage without losing more than half the money and property because HE was cheating. She could have taken him to the cleaners for future financial support too. If he didn't drive her crazy enough to do this with his mind games trying to convince her she was crazy for thinking he was cheating etc that he WAS doing.
The worst part about this is how he gaslighted his wife and just kept lying to her. Over and over and over. She confronted him about the affair and it was deny, deny, deny until she recorded them (sewed a recording device into his jacket) and cloned his phone. He said, "I can't deny it anymore". True. But only because HE WAS CAUGHT IN A LIE. Then he keeps talking about HER mental health? He should be ashamed of his behavior but he's clearly not.
I agree.
I think the worst part is that he made her move from a state where she had friends and family to a state where she had no support only to leave her
“I didn’t know what was happening” LMFAO you did tho????
His dick knew what was happening but he didn't......Right? What a asshole.
A wonderful man doesnt cheat on his wife.
100% with you
Especially when his wife is going through a hard time in life and needs him the most during that time 😞 and then ultimately having him throw her to the curb like trash
I don't think he woke up one day and said, "I think I'm gonna try cheating today!" This kind of thing happens often enough. It blindsides one, even if you try your darndest best not to be attracted to that other person. We're not perfect beings, or even robots. Murdering someone for cheating(whether it's your spouse or their lover)is the more heinous of the two acts here. Murder is murder! I don't believe in the "crime of passion" excuse. You don't own your spouse! Too many people live in a fairytale world-- fueled by outdated traditions or religion.

Some sage advice right here. I've been propositioned by a married woman before, but nope. I don't need that kind of drama in my life.
@@gideonwaxfarb Smart man. People forget that there is a spouse and probably a family attached to that person who's lives will all be forever affected by a fling. Maybe not right away, but the truth always comes out sooner or later.

He knew she was having a hard time, gave up things to move up there, and to find out he was playing her and going to leave her way before she left everything.
He played with her mind and emotions.
Yeah, like the young so called beautiful woman was a victim. She was cheating on her husband too. M deserved what she got too.

I'm sorry but the way he describes his mistress is disrespectful to the memory of his wife. Everyone in a relationship gets into a pattern. New relationships are exciting and different - cheating is cheating, don't get married if you want to play.
I mean... if I thought my husband was cheating, found evidence of it, and he kept lying I would definitely be angry as well. And he OPENLY KEPT CHEATING. She gave her all to him just for him to leave her
And they apparently decided together not to have kids. I bet that was his plan and she just went along with it because she loved him. Now he was running off with someone younger who wanted kids and she was just garbage (she must have been really depressed there without any family or support when HE also convinced her to move for him). She's a real piece of work trying to make himself a victim of this.
The man is the cause of this . Not once do I see him as a victim
He totally seems like he gas lighted her!!
It’s easy to forget that the “other woman” was married too. Happened to me 27 years ago. All those thoughts ran through my mind, but somehow I saw past his and her disgusting morality. I don’t care how you phrase it, you either have morals or you don’t. Obviously, neither the husband or other woman had any, call it what you will. Same story that’s happened for hundreds of years! Once heard a saying that still rings true “the grass looks greener on the other side because you can’t see the s^*# from that far away”! He is disgusting.
15 minutes into watching and just can't believe this is worthy of 20/20. What's the story? A wife kill's herself and the woman that took her husband??? Is it right? No, but it's not a surprise either. Hurt people do horrible things.
Can't stand watching the lying, cheating husband play the victim. There are no victims in this story. They were all guilty of something. There are no clean hands.
Watching him explain cheating with his boss that was 15 years younger is nauseating. Seeing the boss that had an affair with a married, subordinate portrayed as a great person is sickening. A great woman doesn't sleep with married men that report to her.
All players in this drama should be forgotten or at least portrayed brutally as they are. All, husband, wife, and mistress are/were selfish, evil people.
The only one who said you're amazing was the jezebel spirit. ..fool man!!!

Life was all about him. He already had his sights on this woman when he met her at the job interview. It wouldn't have mattered what she said, it was better than anything his wife ever said because he was thinking with his d!@#. He was driving his wife crazy telling her she was just imagining an affair and people don't understand what that gaslighting does to a victim of it. Now the proven manipulator is trying to make money out of it and glamorise his affair. Nope.
The damage that some men cause and then they act as if they didn’t do anything wrong! How sad for the wife, she even tried a Divorce Coach but nothing could help her get over the hurt.
The fact he continuously led his wife on. Flat out lied to her. Yet he is NOT held accountable. If you have ever been married for years, cheated on and your entire life be tossed completely around of coarse you are going to be depressed and struggle to deal with it. It takes years to learn how to cope and deal with the pain.
Be a real men and just say the truth
So tragic, they both should have gotten some coffee together and realized that the only guilty one is that POS guy. But many women often blame the other woman rather than their husband. Kind of odd to think that a stranger should respect their relationship when obviously the husband doesn’t.
I've always thought that way, too. Why do we women, almost always. blame the other woman? It certainly doesn't make for all this "women together" strength. There are times when it is the man, or it's the women, or both, and we have to recognize it that way.
Leonaza7 the other woman was partly to blame, she was married as well and asked him for a drink, she knew what she was doing! No one in this story is innocent. I do agree women blame women and I’m not sure why but a lot of it is jealousy in this situation, the woman was 15 years her junior.
that woman blame woman thing is the same with man with man thing. We feel as a woman we are equal and we should understand our kind better since we fight the same war. Just like mothers judging each other because we feel like we should support on another. But that eyebrow chick didn't even think of the woman she would hurt when she's with her husband. That's why she killed her. Sorry by no means am I defending Jen but I can understand why she did what she did. Call the cops but if it happens to me, I might do the same one day. That chick should know how to not ruin other people's lives first.
That pussy ass of a man? Jen should've taken him with her.
@Andrea Gomez She was seeing a therapist. The therapist is interviewed. Watch the whole program on ABC you tube.
@Amber Sauls This is the problem with most men. They decide to cheat bc an "nice opportunity" chick walks into their life. He probably wasn't on a quest to cheat (believe me, I am not defending this asshole) but do the math of a troubled marriage + financial problems + a willing female + a wife living miles away + opportunity = cheating on the spouse. However, the husband always had the power to say "No, thank you! I am married." He chose not to do that............Most men that are unhappy don't have the balls to leave on their own if they are truly unhappy. They stay until they can find a female to make their exit easier then dump the wife.....I give a lot of credit to anyone, male or female, who leaves a marriage without getting a third party involved and simply leaves the relationship bc it is no longer working.
The mistress had horrible eyebrows! He ruined both these women’s lives. Nobody should buy his book.
He didn't care about her eyebrows. He wanted secks and a young body to show off like these middle aged boring old men do.
HORRIBLE EYEBROWS
He’s the trouble maker! Stay far away from this dude!
This man has absolutely no remorse. He seems excited that two women died over him. He is acting as if he got the ultimate ego boost.
Mark Geradot may have had his life spared from his late wife, but he will have to live with the guilt for what he did to her for the rest of his life. He has been exposed on national tv as a cheating bastard that had a affair with a woman who was 15 years younger and was killed for her involvement with him by his heartbroken wife. People say he should have been the one to have gotten killed, but I think Jennair knew what she was doing which was she wanted to expose him for the cheating husband that he was to the world and that by taking her life and his mistress's that he looks like a monster and will probably never find love again because of his selfishness.
He has no guilt. He still tries to make himself look like the victim when he was the lying, gaslighting cheat who was biding his time to escape the marriage and act like he and his affair only started dating afterwards (to get everything to himself). I wish she could have had a great life with all the money and property away from him. He set her up by having her move there away from her support system too. She had no one (and was made to feel it too by him). He probably wanted her to just kill herself by the way he talked about pointing out her mental health issues to her after she proved he was cheating.
He should’ve told her sooner and just gotten a divorce.
You kidding. Look how old they are. The woman probably thought she wasted 25 years with this guy. Now her life goes to another woman and her financially broken, no emotional support. Alone.
You're woman and probably married think about this for a moment if it was you.
This guy is pathetic. If one of them were still alive he would shut damn mouth. Neither the 2 of them can defend themselves. Look how proud he is for being a home wrecker. I hope he gets run over.
She was already jobless and broken with no kids. She would've killed him in his sleep had he handed her a divorce paper.
Probably it would have resulted the same way. What makes it worse is that this ass wipe gave his wife false hopes of a new life together in a different state, only to arrive and find out he made himself comfortable with this other lady.
And he still acting all mindblown that his wife had a meltdown, that caused this tragedy to happen
The entire thing started with him/his actions. The ending goes back to him as well there again because of what he started.
no. it;s the woman's responsibility not to murder someone out of jealousy
He said he still loved his wife. You don’t cheat on someone that you love. He should have told her before she moved to a new city. Very selfish
When you are married you don’t go to a bar with another woman. It’s lust man, you can control it. Divorce first, and then start a new relationship. Holding onto your wife in case this affair doesn’t work out. Poor wife, she can’t defend herself agains his lies.
Exactly! I don't even think you should go get coffee with someone else alone.
Nobody believes him anyway
I'm sorry what we supposed to feel sorry for him? So much for his vows ..I'm sorry his wife and mistress suffered he could of tried harder to work on the marriage.was he stupid enough to think he was going to have a fairy tale ending
And now he gets to wash his hands clean, absolve himself, and move onto the next girl, probably one in her early 20s. I tell ya, there is no justice in this world.
Even his teen pics scream “I’m a tool”.
Jennair - “She’s living my ******* life”
I knew in that moment things were going to go south with no sense of return. You can tell Jennair had already made up her mind about killing Meredith.
yup
@Citrus Fruit psychOooo
@Citrus Fruit anytime x
What I didn't understand is the site of the crime was in Pennsylvania, a long way from Delaware. He claims his wife never told him "what a wonderful man" he was. His story in the beginning didn't bear traces of that. We're hearing one side and hearsay from others.
You've been with someone a certain amount of time, male or female, you will know if something is up.
Then to profit from deaths he wished he could take back. Not buying it OR his book.
DE & PA are close FYI 😊 super close. I lived in DE & always hung out in PA
Def not buying his book either!! & im soo mad he mentioned mental illness smh like no sir thats called a BROKEN HEART!!! && Yeah the beginning they def were madly in love!
@@ItsBrittany. I actually checked mileage between the two states before making that comment. 275ish miles, a 4hr & 30 min drive!. You must have really groovy, cool friends to go so far! I had a great aunt that lived 7hrs from me.It was 5 hours to see my surgeon after a lumbar fusion, then another two to see the aunt who was in assisted living, then nursing home. This woman cooked 3 to 4 meals a day, southern cooking, biscuits by scratch, cakes by scratch, always asking, "A honeee, what y'all want to eat?" when one of us stopped by. The others never went to visit. I asked why. "Well, honey, it's just too dang 'fuhr' ta drahve! It's at least 30 dang minutes!" They too got home made cooking when they came by. Can you get my ire at that? Their backs had "nottah durn thang a wrown with 'em!"
“What a wonderful man” annoyed me for many reasons but the main reason being, I wonder how many times he complimented Jennair. Some men love to use that excuse about not feeling wanted or loved. It’s kinda hard for a wife to give out compliments when she herself is feeling unwanted. Some men will use all their energy to compliment complete strangers and turn around and ignore the beautiful wife/ spouse they have at home.
@@kayk2899 Kinda like discovering photos, user names like TheOne69 & emails thanking your husband for the poem he wrote to them and complain about us not being intimate! All that discovery really put me in the mood. NOT! He took my intelligence & intuition for granted thinking I'd not figure out how a computer worked. He cheated six months into the marriage, something that still baffles me as we were doing newlywed adventurous things... Even hanging from the chandelier in the sky! I can't imagine killing ANYONE much less the one you vowed your life to in sacred marriage vows.
Oh honey those eyebrows💀
This wimpy creep is clearly enjoying the attention. I have no idea what these women saw in him.
I told my fiance, if your ever fall out of love with me and want to move on, just tell me so I can get on with my life. Over the years I've learned to love others while loving myself more.
This guy is a monster, why are they being so nice during the interview.
When it comes to marriage, cheating should carry a life sentence. 😔
True. He sounds like he wanted her to kill herself ad make it easy for him without alimony and dividing assets (he even admits he was pointing out her mental health issues TO HER after she proved she knew he was cheating). He was playing with her mind the whole time he cheated and no doubt all the years before to make himself the centre of her universe (including conning her into moving away from her family and support network). He's a schemer.
It takes two to tango. He's no saint. He's just as much to blame. Midlife crisis?
Men like these are giving a bad reputation to real men. 😔
You said you tried to forgive yourself but you couldn't forgive your ex-wife. I think you should say that I shouldn't have cheated on my wife in the first place.😒
Ummm, excuse me, but your choices in life, sir, caused all of this. You are NOT innocent in this tragedy.
He's no prize!
Why they leaving us hanging like this. They give us part 1 but nomore. This pisses me off.
Google ABC 20/20 'The Affair'
You can watch it there. This is a rerun from a while back. 20/20 is on every Friday night(or Saturday, can't remember this second).
So THIS is the jerk... and he's portraying innocent. How infuriating.
He is a big POS. He's telling the story like it is a romance novel. I also blame that wife stealing Meredith. They both did not have any morals or scruples. I feel so bad for Jennair!
Such a sad story😭 The killer wife was so wrapped up in her husband for most of her life and felt felt betrayed and couldn’t win him back, so she wanted to destroy him and felt the best way was to kill his mistress. She probably didn’t want to spend life in prison, so she chose to kill herself in the process. Her main goal was revenge. The entire problem was due to his infidelity during their marriage. He should have gotten a divorce BEFORE the affair happened. He’s the loser in all this. 🙏May the two women rest in peace. 🙏
He should have remained faithful
"Something" that seems "better" will always come around. If you can't say no to that, don't say yes to marriage.
Of course, it was addictive. All new relationships are. He knew that & should have run in the other direction immediately since they both were married. Does the word VOWS come to mind? Don't get married unless you can't keep the vows.
it's 2019 people get divorced more regularly than staying in a marriage
I think we’re ? wait a minute, being in love with someone else at the same time married someone you thought or believed you were mentally, emotionally and physically completely connected forever and you come up with what ? Really that’s serious character flaws.
