- During the 'Deutsche Meisterschaft Rollin50' organized by SCC500 on Airport Lahr in Germany, I have managed to film the loudest BMW M5 V10 ever! This 630HP 'Black Beast' BMW M5 V10 is tuned up to 5.8L by Dinan Stroker, equipped with KKS exhaust system and fitted with a lot of carbon parts by Hamann Motorsport.

To casuals that are saying *it lost to all cars*, this e60 is rwd and a older model and the audi and the mercedes are awd newer models and modded aswell.
This e60 is modded too, give it awd and it will toy with every car it races with..
Do a rolling start race and youll see different results..
That GAD Motors isn't awd, but it is newer

offdatgogo Wanting the V10 is one thing, having a terrible SMG and reliability that disappoints is another. Im not some Mercedes fan, But i do know that all around (including design) the F10 is a much better car. Though, We can agree to disagree.

So this was a 5.0 punched out to a 5.9? It's amazing the power output of just 360 cubic inches in a v10. So small. Is it 630 bhp or 630 whp?

I've been debating this question but is this M5 a Manual or the SMG semi auto ? Love this car and the sounds it makes are something i will miss dearly in future cars.

The M5 E60 V10 is inexpensive now, but what about reliability...?
Gearbox failures and suspesions are the Common problems you'll encounter, plus it runs tru fuel stupidly fast
They tend to be prone to electrical niggles and faults, especially concerning the SMG gearbox. The engines burn oil too, and have been known to blow headgasket at the 120k miles point.
Cars only become cheap once they get old and are likely to need fixing up
I own one, they’re very expensive to run. The warranty will cover most electrical things, but not problems that come with age/wear and tear. Just had clutch & flywheel replaced on mine, £2,400 in parts alone...
haha, good luck! It's sad, really. This is a car that has one of the greatest engines of all time in terms of its sound, but it is only going to be more and more of a pain to keep on the road as time goes on. It makes me angry, actually. I'd love to own one, but I never will because it's simply too much trouble. No matter how much money you have, this will always be in the shop.

the bmw M5 E60 never came with turbo, it has original a 5.0 N/A V10.. wich is stroked to 5.8 litres

i love this sounds, but the new Bmw looks better then the old one ( v8 sucks)
I respect your opinion about the V8, but the current V8 in the F10 is more powerful and efficient than the V10 - the sad thing about todays engines is the turbos.

5.8L stroker is not that great tbh. If you want to really get the juice out of this m5 v10, start with weight savings. a 5.2L stroker and a supercharger & meth injection kit. It will push about 800 hp do 230-240mph and its rev limiter increases to about 8500-8600.. guaranteed to smoke most of the cars this guy raced in this video. I think he decided 5.8L stroker because he is a fan of naturally aspirated and did not want forced induction.
