"Drivin' Nails in My Coffin" is a country music song written by Jerry Irby. It is a breakup song, telling of a man who has been drinking booze, "driving nails in my coffin over you."
The song was originally recorded and released in 1945 by Jerry Irby. It became a hit in 1946 for both Floyd Tillman and Ernest Tubb. The Floyd Tillman record was released on the Columbia label (catalog no. 36998), peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's folk chart in August 1946, and was ranked as the No. 16 record in Billboard's year end folk juke box chart. Ernest Tubb's version was issued on the Decca label (catalog no. 73679) and peaked at No. 5 on the folk chart in December 1946.
All of you're terrifically well players. She's a wonderful singer and a lovable woman. A special 👏👏👏 to the solo of the couple of guitars and the fiddle. Cheers from 🇨🇭
I just saw her and the Rage in concert. They were amazing! Nicest folks you can meet. Sally is going to be a big star! If you ever have a chance to see them live, do it.....
Watta voice.... I'm still stunt.... it's not by given million dollars to girls with no talent that you will bring back good real country music, Rhonda play an amazing good fiddle, mandolin, guitar and SHE can sing ! + She's a real beauty
Actually they are showing respect. As a Bluegrass musician I respect an audience that likes our performance enough to not carry on like teens at a rock concert. You get the same thing at the Grand Ole Opry, it's called respect of others! It's funny when people don't understand something they resort to being mean spirited and name calling. Very immature.
I’d crawl through a mile of broken glass just to watch this band
I have seen them at the Orange Blossom Opry in Weirsdale, FL. It was well worth seeing them. My sister went too, and she was blown away.
Shes one of the reasons i love bluegrass. Talented bunch of musicians. ❤🎻 🏴 🎶

Fantastic
Maybe the tightest band in bluegrass. And Rhonda’s voice is on par with Patty Loveless and Allison’s. Great stuff.
She's a better pure bluegrass singer than either of those two...
ONE HOT MAMA

They're 17, 20, and 24. And they're expensive, but you can have 'em if you want.
Play that fiddle son
If any version could challenge Bush and Emmons, this is it. Damn, this is good . . . great . . . maybe unsurpassed.
Turn it up and and pass me a Sam Adams please
anyone else drivin nails?
What kind of guitar does Josh Williams have? Looks like one of those Santa Cruz Tony Rice models, or at least one that looks like a copy of his D-28.
This is Ernest Tubb's song she didn't write this
*Jerry Irby (which also does it better than Ernest Tubb)
Holy crap ! Awesome ! Who are these guys ?
👏👏👏👏😛🙏❤👍🙋♀️
Was that The Edge?
Ernest Tubb'd be proud.
Mr Tubbs would be proud
Seewee
A lot of heart and sounds great...but knows nothin about drinking and heartbreak. Song was written originally and sang the way it was for a reason...
Great cover,, but I miss the drum accents Ernest Tubb had in his version.
Great music! But what a dull, lifeless audience!
+rockymountainwoman You are right about that !!
+Voided Charm --very funny comment!
+rockymountainwoman Must have been a non drinking bunch of assholes . lol
yep , lol

Not too bad but Johnny Bush does the best cover of this ET classic.
You need a good rythen guitar picker. Everytime Josh steps out in lead the music dies.
