You're absolutely correct about Louis XV reducing France military objectives. France Reduces Military Objectives: 1. If no French general inside the part of Austria on the Bohemia map ("Core Austria"), France may remove its VM in Core Austria from the board 2. Half (round up) are set aside, and the rest are returned to France's pool 3. After that, when Bavaria or France conquers / reconquers a fortress on the Bohemia map, the set-aside victory markers go back to the pool 4. This may happen only once
In regards to the Imperial Election @19:35 Only Austria and Pragmatic army must vote for themselves (Francis). Everyone else can vote for either side per page 9, section 18, heart 4. this is important for negotiations. Also, only the Pragmatic Army and the French can get a victory point for the Electors box. You sorta mentioned this but I thought I would clarify.
Thank you for the great videos, the teaching was really good. Let me add a few remarks: @11:16 I don't think it's accurate to say that Saxony won't be controllable by Prussia for the rest of the game. It could happen again through the manipulation of Saxony's political track, right? @17:24 One omission regarding "France reduces military objectives": As soon as France or Bavaria conquer/reconquer any fortress in the Bohemia map, the VP tokens set aside are returned to the French pool. @18:22 Only France or Austria could get a victory point from the imperial election (this is clarified a minute later). @18:45 Not a castle... it's a crown symbol, related to the coronation of the emperor. @35:30 It's worth mentioning the suggested official variant (Chapter 25) where bluffing cards remain in the political board for the whole round, same with the cards of powers that didn't have option to choose a political card.
Thank you for the response! I believe only one card exists in the political decks to move the Saxony marker to the left and can ONLY happen if Saxony has not gone neutral, so I believe that once Saxony goes neutral and is lost by the Prussian player they will not be controlled by them again.
