    Grapeseed oil is really cheap compared to even low-grade olive oil. Avocado oil is the highest temp. resistant oil that I'm aware of for this kind of use, much higher than Grapeseed oil.

    Don't use Olive oil as it smokes and adds an acid taste. Grapeseed oil is what you need.

    I do everything you just did but I only use flaxseed oil

    No soap on steel for me.

    My baking steel is dark and clean. Is there anything I can use to bring it to or close to that brand new look?
