Mine is by my backdoor. My ceramic tile hole is big and only half tile broken. What do I use for big spaces like at my back deck door as I said. It goes under door to sill and under the deck is showing. HELP! And thanks.
my kitchen tile just popped yesterday and had a hairline crack. This is the first time it happen since 7 years. should i call a builder to fix it or can it be fixed like DIY?
Hi Robert, We suggest taking a picture of the tile and start heading to tile suppliers and ask to go walk around their back room too. If it's an older tile it's less likely to be on the show floor. Every time you pass a tile shop, have the photo in your phone to reference it to the sales team. Hope this helps and good luck!
Hi Dan, The adhesive is spread with a notched tool, however the grout is spread and applied with a rubber/ padded tool. We suggest a sku # 2166577 - Pro Grout Float, which you can read and order here www.acehardware.com/departments/building-supplies/walls-floors-and-ceiling/flooring-tools-and-accessories/2166577We also welcome bringing in photos of your project to your local Ace and they'd be happy to review before you start!
So in other words I have to replace the whole tile you’re telling me there’s no way to fix the cracked tile and reuse it? The tile that I used in the bathroom is no longer available for sale so I would have to replace my whole floor in order to avoid having a mismatch tile like you do in this video. Please advise because I really do not want to have to spend an arm and a leg to replace my whole bathroom tile floor. Not to mention the amount of time this is going to take me when I can simply fix the one broken tile and put it right back where it was.
Hi There, It’s not that there is no way it just will not look right. If the tile has a crack you can fill in with grout or caulking in a matching color but you will see the line. Hope this helps!
I need to replace some broken bathroom tiles and this video was so incredibly helpful. Thank you for that.

If you have thin-set leftover from a larger project - THROW IT OUT! I used an open bag and it did not set....had to rip everything out again.

Video is good. Title is misleading. You are not 'fixing' a broken tile. You're replacing it. Big difference.
Shut up DEBBY
What about tile that abuts a wall or cabinet?
My house is 15 years old and I have a cracked floor tile but none on hand that match. Any suggestions on how I can find a replacement tile?

Good info. Thanks!
What if it's heated tile?
Great video suggestion!
@@AceHardware If you make one let me know please.
Am I the only one who sees the new tile sticking out? It’s not flush with the adjacent tiles 😮
goods kit
I'd backbutter that tile!
