The saddest thing about these movies is when Phelous adds in stuff (the birds here or the mountain lion in Birdemic) I honestly can't tell the difference. I legitimately thought that Mountain Lion was actually in Birdemic until I saw the movie for myself
Wait, at 16:21 it shows that Julie won the Alan Turing Award. Alan Turing proposed the Turing Test, in which a computer program must be able to convincingly imitate a real human. That kind of foreshadowing is way too smart for this movie!
Strangely enough this movie seems to be put together better then Birdemic, which isn't saying much, but it's funny to see that each every movie James makes is less competent then the last. Yeah Birdemic 2 had an actual crew, but in terms of what James did himself it's even more incompetent then the first one.
+Crimson Trax I don't know, I think at a distance it, uh, you know, it looks pretty much like Wiseau movie anyway. You know, at a distance... and it's totally meant to be a comedy. At a distance.
+FNGLHR Actually, Nguyen is still totally holding on and convinced that these are legitimate romantic thrillers. Listen to his Birdemic 2 commentary and you will see he is totally serious with everything he does.
The premise for this movie is actually really clever, if it was approached differently and the stalking was taken out. And there was a better cast. And a better budget overall!
So apparently none of Julie's former professors, business partners, or friends knew that she had died. I guess none of them were invited to the funeral.
I just realized, why are all of James Nyugen's movie protags a rather good looking but bland white guy with dark hair and square jaw, and the love interest is always a blonde woman with zero personality? I'm kind of concerned about this, I mean, he's admitted the main characters of his movies are just his self-inserts right?
Nah, I agree that there's a trend. The lead in Birdemic 2 had to dye her hair blonde for the movie, and it seems to me that Wooden Rod was hired for his look rather than his "acting ability." He's definitely got types and tropes he likes to use. Since they're always computer (insert computer part here) salesmen that made millions like he did, it comes across as a self-insert.

The ending of this review had more "pull at the heart strings" & better acting than the actually movie. Well played

S. Albertsen lmao right??? His drop to the floor was pretty impressive too!
Romanoff?
Does she have a family of talking musical instruments she's stashing?
Nah, she lost her memory then got married and had a kid, and an annoying sidekick bird voiced by Mario.

The scene in the "museum"/ in front of the image like in Vertigo, Bodega Bay, the Tippi Hendren part- he didn`t meant it as Hitchcock homage, did he? It´s at the same time sad and insulting..
James Nguyen loves his Hitchcock so yeah, I'm sure he did mean them as such.
It's really sad because Hitchcock was like, the greatest director of his generation, and James Nguyen is... the guy who made Birdemic.
