WOW THIS IS AMAZING
I read somewhere once that one of the Old Masters (kicking myself because I can't remember which one) looked at a roman statue and said something like "it could be alive, it is only lacking breath." Ditto for this amazing work.
I've been looking at small scale sculpture recently and I'd begun to wonder how much detail it was possible to capture when working at this size. Pretty much all the examples I've seen have a certain cartoony aspect to them (even by artists who do realistic work at larger scales) and I wasn't sure if that was personal style on the artists part or a limitation of the medium. But this video makes it clear it's the former.
Also I see from an older video of yours that you did a similar sculpt but without the 3d computer sculpting, over the course of 11 days not counting painting, which already answers my other question of "is that level detail at that scale possible without 3d printing." Completely astounding, I can only imagine how many years it took to hone your skills to this level.
