#5MetalStyles - Видеоклипы
Polka Thrash: * Exist *
Korpiklaani: Lol, yeah right.
Also Finntroll!
Basically viking folk metal
This reminds me Alestorm too ^^
The last one be like:
"lofi black metal radio - beats to burning down churches"
Lofi hip hop+black metal honestly sounds like a really great idea. Also a big fuck you to all of those guys going durrr hip hop bad!!!!im 67 years old!!!!!1!!1
Yes I need this to be a thing
Band A Light in the Dark - Insomnia
Lo-fi hip-hop plus post-black metal
@@user-dj6lj1dl1c so ghostemane?
@@tylertibbs7147 I dont think so. Ive obly listened to one of his songs so i may be wrong but his music definitely doesnt sound like lofi hip hop and it definitely doesnt sound like black metal. Afaik its more like a fusion of trap and genres like hardcore, death metal and industrial
The polka one man 😂
It kinda reminded me of A little piece of heaven by a7x tbh
Finntroll and Korpiklaani use polka HEAVILY.
A concept prooven by time and Finntroll
@@leon_kngs5490 glad im not the only one who thought that, its the accompaniment
@@leon_kngs5490 it sounds like that mixed with alestorm
That Master Of Polka solo kicked arse!
Disco and groove metal is essentially rammstein
Mixed with Static X
Was just about to write that😂 I mean, there is a reason why Rammstein's music is sometimes classified as "dance metal"
This makes sense, and I now know why I like them. Disco FTW!
They are actually industrial metal
And a little CKY
Drum n bass + melodic death metal = Pendulum ft. In Flames - Self vs Self!
such a tune
Exactly my thoughts, the riff even feels similar
I was thinking both that and Amon Amarth
yo this slaps! thanks for commenting!
Beat me to it.
That lofi black metal sounds like something kmac would do haha
There's actually a pretty awesome living example of DnB + Melodeath in 'Self vs. Self' by Pendulum & In Flames. Great video!
Yes! Also Blue Stahli and The Chemists make some heavy rocking electronic music
This song got me into death metal and im still stuck in this rabbit hole 10 years later
I was looking for this! Yess!! Lol
Exactly what I thought lol
I too really enjoyed this song, however I've been looking for decent drum n bass bands for years, ever since I heard a London band called "hybrid uk". There's only a few of their tracks available on RUclips, but should definitely check them out, as far as I'm concerned, they are the only band I've ever heard who get the blend of drum n bass and metal perfect.
Sorry Pete, your attempt on drum n bass wasn't up to scratch for my liking, but that's the first time ever that something you have done hasn't been entertaining for me.
I need a whole playlist of Lo-fi metal
Listen to chon. They are pretty much lofi metal
Lo fi blackmetal is actually a thing, listen to burzum dunkelheit
Sadness is your best bet.
A light in the dark - Insomnia
Polka thrash needs to be a thing :D
Agreed
check out korpiklaani an finntroll they use polka a lot
Okay so no one's talking about how Trap Djent sounds like Polyphia - Look But Don't Touch
to be honest, black metal was always lofi
Disco Groove metal is literally Static-X. If you added slap bass to the Trap + Djent, and some lyrics about being bullied, you've got Korn.
Evil disco
Polka + thrash
*Devin Townsend has entered the chat*
Hahahahahaha!
also sounds a bit like like finntroll
He's also been playing 'Disco Inferno' live lately.
*Laughs in Russkaja*
Sounds pretty A7X especially the melody on guitar there
trent is my new favorite djenre
DOES IT TRENT?
we need a full trent track guys
I think we need a full track of that, it slapped
Scarlxrd with trap djent
Which of these styles is your favourite? :)
Lofi Black metal! Whole album please!
POLKA THRASH. End of discussion.
The disco was cool keep rock'n
Yes
Drum'n'Bass + Melo-Death.
Reminded me of a song I heard a while ago:
Self vs. Self from Pendulum (D'n'B) ft. In Flames.
Y'all should check this one out, it's awesome!
Cheers from France! 🍻
P.S.: The Polka+Thrash one was cool too.
Polka + Thrash is literally just Korpiklaani, and I love it :D
Trap + Djent was actually pretty sick
I think Polyphia's got some songs kind of like that.
It's basically Polyphia, yes...
It's kinda like scarlxrd
It really was. I must recreate it!
@@sagerussell9307 to me his like hardcore rap
Anyone who enjoyed the disco is heartily encouraged to check out "Tragedy: The all metal tribute to The Beegees and beyond".
They hail from New York, but are over in the UK quite regularly - I've seen them 2-3 times in Glasgow and they're absolutely class.
Also, Celldweller's cover of Tragedy. More industrial rock than metal, but it's awesome
@@camillaquelladegliaggettiv4303 I'll check it out now
There is a whole genre of Drum n Bass Metal. One of my faves is Blue Stahli
Don’t forget Celldweller 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Nice to see a blue stahli and Celldweller fan! One of my favorite artists
Blue Stahli yesss
There’s also self vs self by pendulum and in flames
Polka's basically just Finntroll with a little less black metal.
This is the coolest thing I’ve ever heard
Thanks! :)
Team disco metal anyone? Sounds like a kickass party to me.
Reminds me of Static X or Rammstein.
Definitely Static-X. Their main theme is literally Evil Disco
the first was immediately Finntroll. Really. Look it up. :D
That or Korpiklaani
I came to the comment section to say this. So true
Exactly what I thought haha
I need full version of very each song of this video. MOAR! Great music, great video, man!
That Master of Puppets interlude made me lol :P
Dnb + Mel. Death was already done by Pendulum with In Flames, on their Immersion album. Pretty great track.
And it sounds super similar, had to listen to it after this video
Do more of these please, this was awesome.
this was a very refreshing post out of all the guitar channels i subscribe to. Nice arrangements brother.
Thanks! :)
Disco+groove sounds so much like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (japanese band)
FaLiLV!! Woo \m/
My MAAAAAN
I love that band
This... this is outstanding! 🤘
Really nice video, you have probably put lots of effort in this and that shows since every mix sounds really good, apreciate this video keep that stuff up
Thanks! :)
Epic, you got a new subscriber!
That second tone was incredible
Polka + Thrash sounds like Korpiklaani!
Drum N Bass + Melo death = InFlames - Self vs Self (Pendulum)
Ok...that was a FUN video! 👍
Drum and bass + melodeath was very cool!
Adding the clean guitar from Master Of Puppets to the Polka Metal was golden.
Disco + Groove Metal is absolutely awesome!
What a beautiful guitar ❤️
the drum n bass one was awesome
A couple of these styles sounded like the basis for industrial metal. Nice!
Ayyyyy. You choose to do my lo-fi suggestion. Thanks Pete and well done.
Thanks for the suggestion! :)
@@peteplaysmusic was that a bit of Emperor in there?
Indeed it was, love Emperor :)
@@peteplaysmusic good choice, XI EQUILIBRIUM is one of my favourite albums. Ihsahn should now do a lo-fi album/EP.
The polka thrash kinda reminded me of "A little piece of heaven" by a7x
Oh definitely especially at the :55 mark
It makes me very happy that 7-string guitars are becoming the standard in most metal playthrough videos
I have legit thought a LOT about mixing Trap with Metal. You did it niiicely.
Drum n bass + melodic death metal actually sounded good
For those who aren’t aware of the band Dog Fashion Disco, they’re basically what you would think if you combined thrash and polka together
Wow! Finally someone recognize them. Aswell polkadot cadaver (that are the same members)
Sebas Jimenez R. I know right? DFD is a fav of mind and is totally underrated. Polkadot cadaver is cool too, but DFD has a special place in my heart 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@akivabakst2021 Yeah men, pretty underrated and talented guys. My fav album is Anarchist of good taste, insane record, their overall discography is so awesome. A man of culture as well.
Sebas Jimenez R. Anarchists of good taste is killer. Personally, my all time fav is Committed to a bright future.
@@akivabakst2021 killer album too.....🤘🤘
The first is basically Diablo Swing Orchestra! Love it
Drum and Bass, you killed it
The amount of people who haven't heard Korpiklaani saddens me.
Me too
Me three
#Rauta 💪🏻😎
@@35i_Hearse_Driver Iske!
I m from india and I know them from like 6 years
You can't fool me, that polka solo was just the melodic solo of puppets.
Lol love your vids
Absolutely digging the polka thrash haha
Drum n Bass + Melodic Death Metal, first thing that come to mind is:
Pendulum - Self vs Self (Feat In Flames)
Lol thrash polka. Pretty cool video. Disco + groove metal sounded pretty cool. It reminds me of static-x.
Polka thrash was epic. Pendulum and In Flames already did a drum and bass metal song ;)
Drum n bass actually sounded sick ngl
0:57 that's a master of puppets!!!
Pete, you legend.
Yes ! A new video !
The Disco + Groove metal riff kind of reminds me of Sol Badguy's theme in Guilty Gear strive.
Lo-fi black metal was actually sick.
I would love to see a full song in the Disco+Groove metal style. That was my favourite of the bunch
Then check out static-x
Weird Kirk Yankomett made my head spin. So confusing, yet, so fun! 🤣
The drum n bass / death metal one reminded me of self vs self by pendulum (feat. In Flames)!
Damn, the Puppets solo and Black Wizards melody were awesome.
Please do “1 riff in 20 styles” with Korn-blind
Nice, lofi and disco (or city pop to be precise) are some of the genres I've really been getting into lately :)
Not gonna lie Pete, a full disco groove metal song would be insane
0:32 That's Korpiklaani right there :D
another youtuber beatmaker called levi niha got a guitar and made a trap metal song that is really good!
honestly it's once i got into metal that i realized how well certain styles can mesh with other genres. that djent trap if you made it into a full track i would listen to it!
In flames did an awesome melodic death metal drum and bass song with pendulum.
Hey Pete, I like that you play music. Please don't stop playing the music.
That polka/thrash was tasty!
Drums N Bass + Melodic Death Metal sounds like a Videogame boss theme
In Flames and Pendulum did the drum n bass + melodic death metal thing on Self Vs. Self.
Trap metal = polyphia and unprocessed
I think a lot of Polyphia's songs are just backing tracks to Eminem songs. 😂
Also berried alive
No, not even close. Trap metal is stuff like Scarlxrd, Ghostemane and some XXXTentacion
@@user-xw6uh3yp7g that's more like rap metal but I guess polyphia is progressive instrumental trap metal then
maybe The Algorithm too
Trap & djent made me fell in love. I think I'm gonna make a song like this
This is just how Mike Patton creates music. I would love to hear Trip Hop and Psytrance mixed with Metal, specifically Trip Hop with Symphonic Metal and Psytrance with Nu Metal.
DNB and melodic death is literally the inflames and pendulum colab and for most part pendulum in general.
HEY HE USED MY SUGGESTION! Drum & Bass for the WINN!! LOVE YA PETE!!!!!!!
There already exists a song combining DnB and Melodic Death Metal. It's called "Self vs Self" by Pendulum featuring In Flames. It's amazing!
Drum n bass melodic death metal, sounds pretty cool actually
This was funny)))
I liked it
Korpiklaani, Pendulum, Korn and others should like it too
I never knew I needed Polka Thrash in my life until this video
I actually liked a lot of these
My favourite RUclips Guitarist
That Trash Polka works so well it's scary lol
master of puppets on polka+metal sounds really awesome!
Polka thrash - Ignorance
Drum & bass/Melodeath - Self Vs Self - In Flames/Pendulum
Trap Djent - Hacktivist, Polyphia, basically any djent from the past 2 years
Lo-fi Black Metal - Violet Cold
Edit: I had no idea what to put for disco/groove but there is a prog death metal band called Cyborg Octopus that has some disco elements sooo
Drum n Bass is essentially "Self vs Self" by Pendulum feat. in Flames
Drum n Bass + Melodic Death is basically 'Self vs Self' by Pendulum. Awesome song.
The Drum and Bass Metal one!!! \m/
i find it actualy sounded like someting off the album clayman by in flames
Theres a pendulum album featuring in flames that honestly sounds the same as this
1:22 Reminds Pendulum ft. In Flames - Self vs. Self
of course,
country-folk-punk
mixed with skate-djent
is a must hear/must like genre for everybody here
we already had drum n base + melodeath
pendulum & In Flames - Self vs Self
Polka + Thrash kinda reminds me of Scottish Pirate Metal like Alestorm.
Disco + Groove Metal and Trap + Djent should be thing! That sounded very good!
Damn, I liked all five of them. Hard to say which I liked best...the Polka Thrash or the Disco Groove...
Everyones forgetting Ted Maul; DnB fused with death metal.
Darkside Hardcore and Deathcore with flat 5th breakdowns, reverbed amen breaks, grainy subs and glitched stupidly low guitars would be very interesting.
2:19 basically Disco queen by Pain of Salvation.
