Dear tangata whenua, preserve your language and culture, it is unique and wonderful. It is beautiful to watch your Kapa Haka! THX for your performance and video! Greetings from Germany 🧡🧡🧡
You should do the same for your land, no people are without something to preserve. I hope your people cherish what you have. Thank you for your kind words, we are the reclaimers of Avaiki, and one day we will see our people restored.
I saw that this was deleted and I couldn’t find it but now that it’s now back and uploaded again I can watch it hella times now 🤙🏼🇳🇿 btw here from Hawaii 😎
*Apologies, I don't know the correct terms for specific performers. The lead girl gave me goosebumps with her voice and her command. All the performers made a wonderful group performance. I can't believe how young they are for such a long time on stage. Truly talented with the spirit and power of their culture emanating from them. I was overwhelmed by their maturity and love of what they shared. I wish them great success into their futures.
OMG! The Waiata Tira is the tune of Can You Feel The Love Tonight! But the lyrics are He Honore! (SOME OF THE LYRICS RIGHT HERE, THE CHORUS IS HE HONORE ) He hōnore, he korōria Maungārongo ki te whenua Whakaaro pai e Ki ngā tangata katoa Te Atua, te piringa, Toku oranga
Holy heck 🤯🤯🤯 this performance will always blow me away. These rangatahi are staunch as, upholding the mana and prestige of our Tupuna with pride. Massive mihi to the kaiako 🔥🔥🔥
This has great moves with great young performers , but this topic they speak about in there entrance is abit to political for intermediate schools in my opinion as it speaks of government and how things around the world run
If I havent said it already, bless you for uploading this. Do you have any old TPM matatinis/regionals? Like 2018 specifically haha. Thabknyou for your time. The end.

Obligations 😂 not in this day and age. You tell a Māori woman to clean or cook, she'll laugh in your face. Our mahi is done through love not obligation. That's a western way mindset. We do what we do, for the love of Whānau.
