- After a couple months of editing, Melissa is finally able to share the highlights of her 16 day 4100 mile motorcycle trip that she took with her daughter and Wind Sister, Gina, in September of 2023.

DAY 1: Ride from South Carolina through North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia to Oho (658 miles)
DAY 2: Ride to Mackinaw City, Michigan (460 miles)
DAY 3: Tour Mackinac Island (no miles)
DAY 4: Ride from Michigan, Mackinaw Bridge, through Wisconsin to Iowa (571 miles)
DAY 5: Ride from Iowa to Camdenton, Missouri (321 miles)
DAY 6: Tour Camdenton, Missouri / Lake of the Ozarks, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Bagnell Dam (??? miles)
DAY 7: Ride from Missouri to Eureka Springs Arkansas (162 miles)
DAY 8: Ride to Rogers Arkansas, Fayetteville Arkansas, Oklahoma, Bikes Blues & BBQ (?? miles)
DAY 9: Ride from Eureka Springs to West Memphis Arkansas (315 miles)
DAY 10: Tour Memphis Tennessee - Graceland, River Front Park, Bass Pro Shop Pyramid (?? miles)
DAY 11: Ride from West Memphis Arkansas, through Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama-Tupelo MS, Birthplace of Elvis and Johnnies Drive In (402 miles)
DAY 12: Ride from Daphne Alabama to Pensacola Beach Florida (122 miles)
DAY 13: Ride from Daphne Alabama to Helen Georgia (418 miles)
DAY 14: Tour Helen Georgia (no miles)
DAY 15 and 16: Surprise.... (XXX miles)
END Miles 4102 miles (based on odometer start and finish)

Loved every minute , especially the Michigan part. As an old Michigan boy ( moving back in the spring) I got a kick out of the Mackinac portion . That bridge is famous for a lot of things and is a trip I have done several times. Looking forward to the daily videos.
Michigan is beautiful. Love Mackinac Island...my favorite. Was thrilled to get to cross that bridge and ride the upper Peninsula even though it was freezing cold. Worth every second.
After watching this video cant wait for spring here in ohio god bless you and your family very proud of your son and all of our military for what they do

Great video! Was that the first time you led Gina on a trip? Did you feel a little more responsibility for the one you were leading down the road? I know I do when I lead a group on one of our adventures. By the way, that was the bridge we rode over when we did our Tail of the Dragon trip video. But I never saw it at night like this. Awesome!

Yes, it was spectacular! I love trips by myself so I can do my own thing, but on a trip this long and this distance, I appreciate sharing it with someone. I did a video where I went from SC to Indiana by myself. It was fun getting to do it by myself. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
Great video....would love to know how you search for hotels ? Your plans seem to be fluid, I generally pre plan all of my stops.
I plan my route and the destinations/stops I want to include on my trip then look for Comfort Inn in that area. I had the route and destinations all planned with reservations for the first week. I had hotel plans for the second week but no reservations, that way if I wanted to make changes I could. I am definitely a planner, but I have learned to also be flexible when on a trip on a motorcycle.
How's the Road-Glide3 vs the CVO Trike-Glide???????
I love the looks of the RG3 and it rides great but for a passenger nothing beats the Triglide.
Does your daughter plan on running her own motorcycle, someday sooner then your twin.🫡🫶🙌❤️💙❤️🙌🫶🫡👍🙏.safe trip.
