I carved a florida version of a pelican earlier this year, except mine was much smaller (i dont own a chainsaw) and mine was made out of cedar and had a fish in his mouth, it was fun watching you go through all the steps of carving it though, im amazed that you were able to get such definition with that big ass chain saw! Well done!
Amazing work! She has a mood, the pelican seems to be thinking about something! Thank you very much for filming the whole process in such detail! It's very interesting! 👏
Well done Christopher! A Pelican isn’t a usual request. I’m getting ready to do an anvil with a skull and crossed swords on the front of it, and a parrot sitting on top of it. It’s for a friend who has a pirate themed blacksmith shop.
There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe your remarkable God given talent. Thank You for sharing. (You must have world class wrist / forearm muscles to maneuver that chain saw so precisely for such an incredible length of time.!)
Can't believe you have such great control with a top handle saw! 9:24 My detail saw is an Echo 2511-p and I couldn't imagine using the -t model. Amazing overall video! Sure appreciate it!
It's all about personal preference..etc and certain.applications I do prefer a rear handle saw...but I never limit what I can do with any saw...you should be able to do anything with any saw in your hand...in a pinch etc.
Wow! That pelican is huge! You must be in great shape! Those saws are way bigger than the ones I use! Your detail and skill are amazing! I have been using a chainsaw since I was 13 but I have just started carving - doing tiki heads. After a few more tikis, two pelicans are my next project plans. If you are interested, you can see my beginner’s work on my Constance Bay Palms channel. I would appreciate any comments or tips! Cheers
