Quick tip for finding weighted valve cap that could work for you on trumpet.

A quick hack to see if weighted valve caps will work for you. Somewhere in this process you may find a sweet spot with dampening and slotting.

Even a single dime in the third valve bottom cap tightens the slotting for me. I prefer using an old silver dime.
