I assumed vancouver and the stars ..i said itnwould only be a joke given by the universe if the hurricanes got thru to snuff us out again. The Oilers were overall the better team in games 1 and 3. I didn't _expect_ them to take it to game 7, but that's because I expected Bobrovski to steal the series. I knew if they could tighten up their play, get Skinner in the groove, and be creative with their chances on Bob, they had a genuine chance at the reverse sweep. But to see those particular stars align... the Oilers can be damn proud of themselves no matter what. Oilers in 7 🤞

Panthers fans calling the offside goal rigged need to realize the cats got past the bruins due to two bogus goalie interference calls. At least this offside call was clear as day, heel lifted off the blue line as the puck was still touching it.
Heel "lift" is not a factor anymore, rule was updated to be a "break the plane" kind of thing, but either way it was pretty clear that the skate was fully in the zone while there was still a tiny bit of overlap btw the puck and blue line. For some reason the replay on the US feed on NHL TV kept showing when the puck had just barely entered the zone, instead of a frame or two before that would have been clearer, but even with that freeze frame, you can see the skate is an inch or two into the zone when the puck is maybe 1mm in the zone. Correct call by video review.

I'm a neutral hockey fan , but there is one brutal fact and that is that we haven't seen a Canadian team lift the Stanley cup trophy in very very very long time and because of that fact I support the oilers and hope they win game 7. Canadian teams winning will not happen often because they heavily outnumbered by US based teams and Canada and Edmonton deserves a Stanley cup win now.

Well you can't call it a collapse anymore. Sure, no one expected Florida to take two from us and we allowed the officials to rob us twice, but after coming back with 3 relatively dominant wins despite the officiating, even if Somehow Bettman pulls off a Florida win, you can't say we collapsed.

I was telling people that Florida was a complete team and this won't go beyond 5 games. Since game 3, Florida probably thought they won it, but now that complete team is nowhere to be seen. I think Oilers may take it now, but we'll see. Hoping for a great game 7 as a neutral.
If the Oilers win, this would have been the greatest choke since 1942. But if the Panthers win, the Oilers would have also choked this series away too after winning 3 straight. Regardless, one team is going to choke and make history. What a series this has been!

I am a fan of hockey, but do not get to watch much, except in the playoffs. This series has been crazy. The turning of the momentum was noticeable in game three. It was like the Oilers suddenly woke up. It has been all Oilers since the beginning of the third in game 3.
For Knoblauch, a challenge is a win-win situation: either the goal is disallowed or you go into a penalty kill with the chance to score again yourself.
Just want to add that no Canadian team has lost a Game 7 in a series where there's been a 3-0 comeback to force Game 7 (Leafs reverse sweep win, Leafs Game 7 win after blowing 3-0 lead, Canucks Game 7 win after blowing 3-0 lead)

Panthers fans calling the offside goal rigged need to realize the cats got past the bruins due to two bogus goalie interference calls. At least this offside call was clear as day, heel lifted off the blue line as the puck was still touching it.
Heel "lift" is not a factor anymore, rule was updated to be a "break the plane" kind of thing, but either way it was pretty clear that the skate was fully in the zone while there was still a tiny bit of overlap btw the puck and blue line. For some reason the replay on the US feed on NHL TV kept showing when the puck had just barely entered the zone, instead of a frame or two before that would have been clearer, but even with that freeze frame, you can see the skate is an inch or two into the zone when the puck is maybe 1mm in the zone. Correct call by video review.

Close call, but it's clear as day when you slow it down. Not like trying to determine whether or not an airbourne puck barely crossed the line as its flipping and spinning 3 feet above the ice, after having bounced off the goalie at 100mph lol. This ones a little easier to determine and Floridas got nothing to whine about. Edmonton fans know what a *real* controversial offside call looks like haha. This ain't it

Every game for me means a night without sleep, because they start after 2am and finish around 5am my local time. I'm a neutral hockey fan , but there is one brutal fact and that is that we haven't seen a Canadian team lift the Stanley cup trophy in very very very long time and because of that fact I support the oilers and hope they win game 7. Canadian teams winning will not happen often because they heavily outnumbered by US based teams and Canada and Edmonton deserves a Stanley cup win now.

I was telling people that Florida was a complete team and this won't go beyond 5 games. Since game 3, Florida probably thought they won it, but now that complete team is nowhere to be seen. I think Oilers may take it now, but we'll see. Hoping for a great game 7 as a neutral.
If the Oilers win, this would have been the greatest choke since 1942. But if the Panthers win, the Oilers would have also choked this series away too after winning 3 straight. Regardless, one team is going to choke and make history. What a series this has been!

Well the chance for revenge of that oilers team from the past manifests now and in epic fashion. Skinner *fingers crossed* has looked healthy and on task, with zero fear, ice water for blood these last three games. Mcdavid dominated two games and force fed his squad hope and force them to acknowledge we aren't dead yet and they responded beautifully, taking over even without him hitting the score sheet in game six.

Interesting that the Oilers comeback in this series really mirrors their comeback in the regular season after a horrendous start.
I am a fan of hockey, but do not get to watch much, except in the playoffs.
This series has been crazy. The turning of the momentum was noticeable in game three. It was like the Oilers suddenly woke up. It has been all Oilers since the beginning of the third in game 3.
Someone on here at game 3 said their Rangers couldn’t win because this was just the Panthers year and the Oilers were done….my have the tides turned.
