hello sir any idea of what might be causing white ink to stop coming out? I did some nozzle checks head print cleanings I used the cendale cleaning stuff fot the bottom of my printer and just doesnt work. ive had this printer about 3 weeks now.
Hi im converting a new 8550 to dtf with a ciss , i want to add the ciss before even turning it on for the first time , do you think this posable , what do you recommend ?
The 4 Color tank is just a regular ciss from anywhere. The White tank I got from My ink supplier but they are available on Amazon as well. I am working on a kit with White Ink circulation. I will keep yall posted
Interesting that you didn’t break the print head when printing with no ink. In the manual is says if you do that, I can damage the printer but you nozzle check seemed fine :)
Great point. You should never (knowingly) operate the printer without ink flowing through the print head as it could’ve overheated and cause permanent damage. But, this single nozzle check is fine. That usually happens after extended printing without ink movement.
I just setup this printer using the tanks that are on the printer. It printed everything except cyan and magenta and now it's printing nothing. I've done multiple head cleanings and power clean with no change. And now it says the maintenance box is full.

Where did you get your ciss? Great video, thanks for being so detailed and for not editing out the issues - leaning from others mistakes is helpful!

A question brother good morning. The white ink can be install allone and let the other colors inside the printer . Only the white mixer outside
You should be able to. I don’t see why not. You should be able to run lines from the mixer to the 2 dampers you want to use for white.
what is the use for the oneway dampers?

Tbh my girlfriend found it at a flea market. I used double sided tape to secure it to the right side panel.
