Jasmine, is it possible to show us the best way to do eye brows when you don't have almost any. I have to do my brows every day. So I use 3 different kind of things: pencil and sometimes, powder. My color is "taupe". I have to draw my brows the most naturally possible. I don't want them to be to strong, to fake, to bold and to thin. A lot of work each day..... Maybe you have a trick to. After I have done them, I put just a little bit of loose powder on them to fix them for the day. So, if you can do a video for us it will be appreciated. 😊
Me too. They're sparce, light colour too on strong brow and high cheek bone. Had. Nuclear treatment for thyroid hot spot - saved me, but ruined my eyebrows lol 😮 There's hundreds of thousands of women 25+ brows destroyed by life preserving medical treatment.
As I have incredibly deep set eyes I am blown away by all of your eyebrow hacks and tips. But this has almost knocked me off my chair! So simple yet so genius. I’m 64 but look about 15-20 years younger and love doing eye makeup especially. I think brows are the cornerstone of every look. At my age I don’t want to microblade so a big thank you to you! You’re the eyebrow Diva!
Much cheaper to use a concealer and stiff brush to carve out the eyebrows . A good one to use is the Elf brand concealer to carve them out. In my opinion a square flat brush works great . After I have done my brows I dust them with a loose powder and let it sit for about 5 minutes and then gently brush it off. NYX. used to make a great eyebrow pencil but quit making them recently. Now they replaced it with the retractable pencils that I do not like. They break easily and you get a lot less product and the color pay off is not good. Almost 2 inch of it is the spooly . I found that out when the spooly came of the pencil.
I tried applying color to just the top of my eyebrows for the lift and what a difference! The color wasn't lasting for me and now I know I need the primer. Thank you for these great tips!!
Wow, I've never seen brow tips specifically for deep set eyes and prominent brown bone, which I have! I will be trying this, for sure. The outcome is perfect on the model! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with eyebrow issues. I have Autoimmune disease and over 20 or so years, my eyebrows have disappeared. I used to have to fill them in but now its 'lets create new ones' I know that they are sisters and not twins but mine don't even look related, until I found your tutorial. My SIL gave me some eyebrow powder that I have found to be marvellous and you have given me some hints and tips on how to use it. Thank you .
I am a newbie to your channel, but now I'm here to stay! My eyebrows are my nemesis' lol. That being said, I've already learned a few tricks that have already helped me to whip those things into shape! Thank you so much! I truly appreciate everything you have to do in or order for us to have great eyebrows!!
omg!!!! unbelievable how this works!! Ordering the brow primer right away but even without this made huge difference. Thank you so much for sharing this tip.
Jasmine…. This is life changing!!! Holy cow! I’m 56 and have always loved makeup because I’ve been a dancer/teacher and then studio owner… been dancing 50 years 😳 so I’ve never been taught how to do makeup however I’ve learned and used go thru magazines for tips and tricks and I’ve been good at applying makeup..then after 50, my eyebrows thinned and I now have hooded eyes so I didn’t know exactly how to change the dynamic of brows (they weren’t awful) but not perfect by any means lol 😆 I tried your trick and wow 😮 Thank you 🙏🏻
Great tutorial but would be nice to have links to all the product you use. Just wondering what is the promade you use to brush the top of your brow in. The ones I use always come out too dark.
Sorry for not linking the products, I haven’t figured out how to do that or if I have that option, I’ll have to do some homework on that! I think I’m using just a powder and not a pomade. Pomade can work, you just have to get off as much off brush with some tissue and apply with a light pressure.
I will be posting some video regarding on the dip brow so look out for it. You need to get some off on a tissue or your hand and start from the tail and work your way towards the front with a light pressure using the tip of the longest side of the angle brush
I hv one brow higher than the other. I have to add colour, feathering in, with tiny strokes in 2 colours using the liquid Nyx brow pens, in auburn & blonde, underneath the left brow. Then I have to sort of feather in colour on the top edge of the right brow, so they end up looking fairly even, horizontally. And I do not have much re. eyebrow wings at all, prob. from an infection I had a long time ago, that I wasn't even aware of at the time, but I hv the antibodies, apparently. The result of that is little or no eyebrow wings!! Also....my inner left brow starts at the nose edge, so it's in a fairly good spot. But my right brow starts almost a 1/4" away from that nose spot, as compared to the left brow! Nice. But my main problem with all this is the arch of my right brow is also further to the right compared to my left eye. If I colour in that missing 1/4" at the nose edge, so my brows match on each side at that spot, my right brow is away too long from nose edge to arch!! O.M.2G. So I have to fudge it a bit, add a little less filler at the right nose edge, so it's not too obvious that it doesn't quite match the length to the arch oln my left brow. I should add, I'm well post-menopausal, used to hv thick darkish brows where I tweezed them down a bit, & lightened them too That tweezing need slowly stopped after menopause, where I was left with my wonky brows. (I hv tried brow growing serums & they don't work on me, altho the eyelash grow serums do, such as Nanolash!). My brows are also a lot lighter now. I pat a tiny bit of translucent powder on them when I'm done with the colour feathering. That tones the brows down a titch, which softens the look of my brows -- otherwise they look away too harsh, re my hair colour & my brow colour (they more or less match), also considering my age. (Dark brows & red or dark lipsticks make me now look like I'm an aging sex worker who should have gotten out of the gsme years ago). BTW, these little thyroid infections causing lost brow wings are quite common I understand, & I know this also happened to Wendy Williams!; she disussed it once on her show! (And remember: Your brows are sisters, not twins!! A make-up artist told me that years ago! Makes me feel better). And here's a tip -- my lower eyelashes are very sparse (& turn blonde halfway up, so they then just disappear really), so I use a black Nyx brow pen to draw in a few tiny "eyelashes" on the bottoms!! Very.delicately. Then I add some white mascara primer & my mascara to all. Seems to work out pretty well.) :))))
I just found your channel 🥰 my brows are my biggest challenge. I am never happy and keep trying different products. I have very sparse hair and some gray too. I’m hoping to watch more of your videos and finally figure out what works best for me.
This trip was great thank you. I am going to try this. I am going to play with my brows today. I got all my paperwork done yesterday going to dinner with a friend tonight. All I need to get done today is my brows, lol
Thank you SO MUCH! I have the worst eyebrows - hardly any left, really. I'm always so self-conscious about them. Over plucked as a teen and have always regretted that. Your videos are a godsend. 💕💓💞
I think this is me. I have deep set eyes, dark eyebrows, but they are bald on the top edge. The bottom is strong, so just working at the top edge is really going to make my brows look more natural. I do love the brow freeze. I don't think my brows are sisters. They are cousins! LOL!
I have deep set eyes with prominent brow bones but I also have quite a bit of space from the brow bone to the eyebrow. I am wondering what you'd recommend for that. In this video you said to go from the top to preserve lid space but i almost feel like i have too much lid space and it is not from overplucking! Thanks for any advice, love your videos, you are such a calm teacher!!
How have I never heard of this trick. I’m so excited to try this! I tend to do my brows way too quickly and I don’t always notice it in person, but in pics, the top part of my brows look especially crazy because I don’t really do much with them. This is going to be a game changer for me. Now if I could only learn how to apply realistic hair like strokes on bare skin to narrow that gap from the dreaded 90’s brow.
This was the best brow tutorial I've ever watched. I have the same brow structure as the model. It's amazing what a difference it makes in the arch by placing the powder above the brow. I'm going to try this technique. Thanks for sharing!
Why have I never seen your videos before! Wow, this was amazing. I have the Anastasia bow powder and I always have such a hard time using it. Getting it to blend, using it to shape, getting it to stay on my skin. That pencil you used before is amazing. Definitely subscribed 😊 Thank You. Now I have to go binge watch your other videos to see what else I can learn.
I don't have deep set eyes. I have hooded lids and I look Asian. I'm do have Native American blood. I have used a similiar technique in the past. Thank you.
My eyebrows are patchy, and to be honest, it just looked like I took my finger, rubbed it in eyebrow powder and smeared it all over my brow. I think there’s other steps in between that I was missing or something. I tried this over and over again, wiping it off in between, until my eyebrows were kind of raw lol.
Hi, I just want to thank you so very much for being such a wonderful teacher and being on video for us to watch especially newbies I’m an old person just learning isn’t that funny never been able to do my brows I never even really apply make up that much so learning all this is new to me and I’m loving it and truly enjoyed seeing your videos.
