einherz ,That guy wasn't landing , he was crashing ,the camel was helping. This really was a GREAT game . It was all about fun , not off lost in to weeds , trying to prove it could make every visual image perfect.
Bump .. Loved this old game. I think they (Dynamix) also did the A-10 Tank Killer games. Was a lot of fun. Anyway, for me the game (gog-version) crashed constantly (just after getting in the air) on Win-7-64bit. I've never tried it with 3dfx glide wrapper. I enjoyed playing those basic old flying games. Wings remastered is another one that is fun. The new ones are so complicated. OK if you want to spend half a life time learning how to fly planes and fighter jets, like the the A10 warthog.
Imagine if we gave the studio that made this half the budget of a triple A game and today’s technology. This was back from a time when studios knew what the gamers wanted because they were gamers instead of business men who bought out the studio.
i have big problem with RB2/3d..i tried multiple bullshits limiting fps and nothing seems to be working fine. well i am not sure if its fps problem but game reacts very fast on any of my inputs, in general it is faster. when i pres an arrow to make a move the plane turns like crazy etc.. would you be able to help? i have nvidia 1080 graphics card. thanks
