Im just happy AOE4 lives up to the hype; no its not perfect but it embodies the spirit of AOE2 while being different enough to be exciting. I can't wait to see the future expansions
I only have words of gratitude for Relic Entertaiment for the chance of giving us the pleasure to enjoy, one more time, a new release of an Age of Empires game. I've really enjoyed the mixture of the best features of AoE2, AoE3 and some from AoM. The best game of its type for this year undoubtedly. Congrats!!!
@@Kfo221 I wouldn’t call not choosing you colour as part of so many flaws but ok. Most the flaws I seen are very small qol changes the core of the game is beautiful

As long they are in the same level of civilization as the Medieval Age before the Renaissance. Possibly until the 16th century were there are limited gunpowered units like the cannons and Streltsy are powerful before the practical gunpowerdered army like the the British musketeers.
Loving the high quality content both on social platforms & in game.. But really waiting for good tips to win these on hard mode.. 😂 Also can't win many missions on moderate.. Gotta resharpen my skills maybe..
Really enjoyed the campaign, I however miss the dialogues between different characters it added flavor to it. I love the idea of the narrator voicing though.
Nope. Other than the Narrator, the only voices you hear are from the units. It's a shame really. I really enjoy the voices of AOE 2. The voice overs from heroes and such. But this is more of a documentary than that.
There are settlers nearest to your market place, take one of them and build 2 archer range near the outpost besides the bridge. From those archer range you can build more archers and re in force willakin's party
No save, peace time or conquest in multiplayer. What happened to conquest? Its also missing in single player skirmish. My poverty stricken friend paid $120 for the deluxe edition and he was utterly devestated in the unpolished game.
Norman 4th mission is a bit BS ngl, not enough time to make any eco before getting attacked by numerous siege, especially since the mission start with ambushing and raiding with not much troops, and the enemy that is blocking the gates are way too numerous in spearmans

John has been villainised throughout history. He wasn't as terrible as is often claimed, and was certainly a better general than he is given credit for.
Can we take a moment to appreciate that this is played a) on normal, b) by someone who has obviously played the mission before, and c) he hits 30k food by the end? Embarassing
This game runs amazingly good in low specs PCs. Probably they will improve a bit their graphics to make it beautier and there is possibility that they will add to the game Weathers like in Dota2. Rain and storms, snowfall, sandstorms, autumn, etc.

Those french armoured infantry look absolute dashing, like a dismounted version of their royal knight.
Just did this mission. Managed to push out and destroy the siege camp, was surprised when it ended the mission. Great fun so far.
This kinda reminds me of the level philosophies used in Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault. Nice to see that influence here.

the mission i had a problem completing on intermediate was the mission where you have to capture king robert
