I used many product from Chemical Guys but VSS is one product that I don't like that much. Like someone said use V34 and V36 for better control of your larger swirls and scratches. When using VSS you are supposed to do it until the polish turns complete clear. This is the way that product work. First the abrasive start working and at the end it polish the car. You stop before the polishing start working. But very good job and I love your car. You can be proud of it. If you want more shine than you have now try finishing your car with Chemical Guys Jet Seal. It is a sealant but you should see the shine you get when appliyng that product. Good luck with your next detailing.
richsq1 I just tried vss on my black 2018 Silverado in a small discrete spot and man did it suck ass. It scratched and left more lines and swirls then what were even there. No way would I want to use this across the whole truck with a DA
Dude, that was a straight forward honest instructional vid! Liked the before and after without personalizing choices but results dictating product results. Very cool, I'm sold and will run with this on my Vette, Also seen V34/V36 comments below, thanks for that too.
@@mendezgarage887 yeah my car is white and it only has small BARELY visible swirls on the roof that’s why I got vss instead of the other cg polishers. If it doesn’t work then ima get c4 and p4.
If you’re still doing this kind of stuff, I really hope you got better. Or you learned some new stuff because this entire video is a waste honestly. 1 pass, 4/6 way smaller than what you should have sued. You barely did anything with the buffer and the pad. It didn’t help at all, things won’t work the way they are supposed to if you don’t do it properly. A whole year has passed since this video and I hope you got a lot better or you’re only working on your own stuff.
Try their V34 cutting compound for deeper scratches and then V36 to polish after that, then you can hit it with a wax to finish it off
After that you should use the v38 because the 36 leaves some fine scratches
You have to pass the area 3 times before you buff it off. You made one pass
You did everything the way you should once you do this a few times you can tell you will be great at it.
What speed setting ?
Love that u didn’t cut it during application 🙌🏾💯

Good Video!! Just Wondering Do You Plan On Putting A Wax Or Sealant Afterwards?...
Draw marks on your polisher. You maybe pressed too much or little. Please use a edgeless towel
You are actually supposed to do it until the polish turns complete clear
Good to know I'll keep that in mind thanks
I used it on my monte carlo and was not impressed at all
Couple more passes on the same spot, but still looks good! But this song makes me laugh 😂
Does VSS have a sandy feel to it?

there is literally no change as far as swirls go. All I see is that it removed the haziness.
There is some change my car didn't have that many swirls but it did take some off and there are more steps to follow besides what I did

By the way I just subscribe to your chanel and I share your video with my freinds. I'm a detailer an old one (65) but still going at it.
