The fact million's haven't viewed this hurts me man. This song should be heard by everyone from the streets or any family that's dealt with addicition. Life's a struggle hang in there , there is beauty in the struggle.
Man this is one of the most poignant hip-hop songs I might have ever heard. I really appreciate the art that Royce is putting forth. Song brings a tear to my eye and it makes me proud to be a hip hop fan. Still a lot of credible artists out there and their not just rappers when it comes to Lyricist like Royce.
I can’t listen to this without sobbing 😭. I was addicted to drugs for 15 years and the pain I caused my family is terrible. I’ve been clean for a year now but this song speaks to me in every level ✌️
CocaiNE does not taste good so don't worry. And it can feel good for few min but then makes u feel like shit for while. Like a bad anxiety attack ..opiates was my issue tho..
The singing in this is haunting. Great production with mixing that in with the beat. And great story telling about the African American experience with involvement of cocaine. Which infected every section of America which we know now had much more global implications from Columbia, Mexico, Honduras, Cuba, and many more places that caused all kinds of death, destruction, corruption, and controversy. Just so Royces Dad and the homeless man in late 70s or 80s or early 90s Detroit could get a bag. Crazy.
If you ask me I agree Boblo Boat should have been the lead single and vid but right on the back of that should have been this... This is the single that would have pushed the album much further... I still don't understand how he didn't see that this is a single.... Could have made a crazy vid to this in the same vein as the shady Stan vid.... Album of the year top 3 no doubt but this song with the right vid would have just taken it next level...
It's hard to choose anyone over drugs you feel like the first step is you have to choose yourself before you choose drugs then put other people's in the mix I had a lot more to say but my memory is pretty bad thoughts come and go in one ear and out the other cuz of the shit that I've done but I'm paying for now
Ordinary love shit. You guys peep it. Those songs used to hit home for me. Love me some Royce. How can't you respect the talent, ride the vibe and zone out. And if you can relate to what this man's saying, it's a whole nother level.
