Took me about half a year to learn… because i’m a super lazy person and self-taught. But now that I can play it, I feel like it’s one of my life’s greatest accomplishments
I remember playing this in a school concert when I was 12. Whenever I see the film all I think about is this song now and It gives me so much nostalgia.
There's a hundred and four days of summer vacation 'till school comes along just to end it! So the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it.... *like maybe*
Some stylistic and dynamic differences, between us. But otherwise, I thank you for the help, have been learning this for a week now. Had a quite similar version. Being able to listen to it makes things, a lot easier. Found your version closer to the OST.
I've no idea how musically inclined you are if you're asking this question, but I'll try my best to explain things for you, my apologies in advance if this is way too much. So...the "F," the first note played, on the left hand, the note most to the left is in the same octave (12 note range) of Middle C (the middle most white key on the board... In this case middle C to the C above it.) if you Google an image of where the notes are place this will help you tremendously in identifing C. Needless to say though this information is only useful if you have a full range of keys to play this specific arrangement of the song. 88 keys to be precise. (Though you might be able to get by on a 73 key as well, but generally that key count is used on higher end equipment for some reason xD ) As many starter keyboards only have around 61at best and the song requires a greater range of notes to play the tune as it's played before you here. So if you've got a smaller set of keys you'll have to improvise some on how you play it. (Probably shifting octaves up and down while playing, but it will ultimately effect the over all sound and dynamics of the song a bit drastically in some regards.) Best of luck to you.
@@TeamTwiistz At the end of the day, that's really all you can do, just try your best to mimic the hand positions, blue keys played on the left hand for the bass line, and green keys on your right hand for the melodies. If you happen to have a smaller set of keys I would do your best to maintain an appropriate distance between hands on the board and just shift octaves where it's necessary, for instance, if you don't have access to a particular high note, move both of your hands down the board to hit all those same appropriate notes, but just a lower down from where they were originally intended to be played, wherever it's necessary to get a simmilar feel. (Just really make sure they are the same notes or it will sound rather scary sounding if it's sharp or flat from where they are supposed to be played. xD) While it may take a little bit of time to readjust once you have access to a larger set of keys, I feel like having your hands at the appropriate distance hitting effectively all the right notes(just a bit lower) will make it a lot easier to adjust later on. So try your best and play what sounds right. Also if your keyboard has a transition feature, you have the functionality to raise or lower all of the notes by an entire octave if you drop it down 12 steps, or raise it up by 12 steps accordingly. This could be helpful if you just want to play specific passages with an accurate sound. I've started working fairly hard on this piece the past few days, and let me tell you, the further in you get trickier it gets. But honestly, learning a song as beautiful as this is well worth the struggle and if you play it regularly enough you can hold onto it for a lifetime, at least that's my goal. Pro tip: When practicing start super slow, don't ever rush it, only play at speeds you're comfortable with. Your brain will naturally speed things up overtime, you'll also learn tremendously faster, and your natural sense of timing and tempo will be a lot easier to tighten up once you get everything up to speed. Have a little self discipline to add a little bit onto the song each day you sit down with it, even if it's just a couple measures, and most importantly have fun, you've got this!!
Gru is an other-worldly being, and let me tell you why. In the first film, Gru travels to the moon and shrinks it as part of his master plan. When he does this, the American flag is not seen, and thus, in the Despicable Me canon, the moon landing is faked and Gru is the first being that has traveled to the moon and back, Furthermore, after the moon is shrunk, the dust that has collected on the moon stays there, which means the shrink ray does NOT change the gravitational pull of the object, Then on Earth, Gru easily tosses the moon like a baseball. Due to this and the fact that the moon keeps its gravitational pull, we can conclude that Gru is a being with extraordinary strength. Let’s recap. First, The moon landing is faked in the Despicable Me universe, which means Gru is the first being ever there, second, Gru has godly levels of strength, being able to easily toss a million ton object with ease.
