Whenever I hear this song, I always imagine a highly developed steampunk civilization. They built all the structures around the world and dominated the overworld. But the war(exactly starts at 1:23) against themselves happened, destroying most of their works. All that remained was a few ancient structures without their builders.
I imagine some kind of merchant in a videogame where You have exactly the same amount of time of the song to Buy from him, and when the last part sounds the screen slowly fades to black while the merchant says "it has been a pleasure to make business." traveler."
@@ChuckSploderThat was Caves and Cliffs, right? Personally, I love the song Otherside, and find An Ordinary Day to be quite calming. I don’t fully have an opinion on most of the 1.18 soundtrack, but those two are my highlights!
@@desmondschneider5397 Otherside was a hit to be sure, but some of them like Left to Bloom and to a lesser extent Wending just distract from the game imo. It was like that for most of the 1.19 songs too. On Bedrock especially, where I usually play, back when 1.19 was new, it just played Firebugs and Labyrinthine constantly with very little variation in the menus. I'm also not a fan of the Infinite Amethyst motif; although I do appreciate Infinite Amethyst by itself, its reuse and repetition in songs like Labyrinthine and Endless borders on annoying sometimes. My favorite Lena Raine songs are Eld Unknown, Otherside, Deeper, Rubedo, and So Below. Oh also, An Ordinary Day was made by Kumi Tanioka. Kumi did a good job in 1.18, less so in 1.21 imo

Minecraft music has a way of being calming, and there are certainly some songs I like more than others. It was also very odd when those two songs played constantly, and I didn’t really pay it any mind until you pointed it out… I play Bedrock a lot, as well.
