I thought I had heard of most of the great guitar players through the years but I swear I had never heard of Jim McCarty before and actually had to look up to see who he was.
We played the Carat too back then, in ‘78, and the west side six, right around the corner…..Jim and the Rockets came in one weekend and just blew the doors off the place.

Someone stole my Craig 8 track player out of my van there! What band were you in? Just remembered... Curtis Hyflash, I think was the band.
I live less than a mile from the Token Lounge. I should go there sometime. I heard Ted Nugent talk about this Person & say what a good guitarist he is!
